4. Which has the most “you” in it, however you’d define that?

That is a very complicated question.  I’d like to think that a lot of me really comes through whenever I write Johanna.  There is a super sweet spot in my heart for that character and I love her so much that probably out of everyone and everything (fandom wise) that I’ve written I’d say Johanna as a whole.  If Johanna’s swearing, it’s probably because I wanted to swear about whatever just happened too, so she’s a lot like me, while still maintaining canon.  It’s kind of a beautiful joining of the two.

13. Are there any things that might have happened in any of your stories, but you changed them at the last minute? (So-and-so dies, they don’t actually kiss, main character has long extended ballet-based dream sequence, etc.)

Well haha yes.  In Married In The Quarter Quell, I was writing through the entrance into the Capitol and it got to where Finnick dies and I was reading through the book to stay consistent, I burst into tears.  It took me a solid ten minutes to get a hold of myself (because I added more Finnick in my story) and when it came right down to the wire, I couldn’t do it.  Not even remotely.  Without giving too much away, what happens when Peeta gets back from the Capitol was not the original plan either, it just happened.  He didn’t want to see her in pain. :-/  Frankly, a lot of MITQQ is just writing.  The characters and the original plot kept it pretty much on track, but I also didn’t know what was going to happen half the time.  It’s 50 chapters and I wrote the first 21 in two weeks...so yeah.  It’s my most popular fic, so there’s that.  My one-shots have always had plans.  They always end up the way I intended to have them end up.

FanFic question...

I’m going to do a series of Drabbles that will follow after the ending of Married In The Quarter Quell, (here’s the fanfiction.net link as well), but I’m not sure if I should just add to the current one because so many people already follow it, or if I want to make a new thing entirely.  Thoughts?  Opinions?  Anything would be a great help.

Married In The Quarter Quell is almost over...what is life??

Writing the final chapter of Married In The Quarter Quell, and I'm finding myself emotional...I've grown attached to this story and now that it's almost over it's quite surreal.  I may at some point write a sequel but not yet.  I've got other stories going, thankfully, but as this chapter -- this story -- comes to a close...I'm missing it already.  Ahh...the life of a writer.

If you've been reading my story all the way through, either through just finding the summary interesting, hearing about it from someone else, or seeing it recommended by everlarkficquestions or any other recommendation blog, I'm going to give you an earnest and heartfelt thank you.  There's reason this fic is so long, and it's because of all of you.

Ending on Chapter 50 feels right, and it's what I was planning all along.  It's been a wonderful whirlwind of a ride, but I'm so glad I did it.  Now maybe one of these days I'll actually read the whole thing!
