the door to the terrace is open, i can hear the birds and the wind. the sky is totally blue and there are tulips in the garden, purple, pink and yellow. there’s an hour until my laundry’s done, i’m listening to j.j. cale, drinking coffee and feeling a little more like myself than i have in weeks.
