“This is a collection of songs that are heavy like a duvet rather than heavy like an anvil.

“As one of the co-founders of Mixedapes I want to get the ball rolling on the second edition of the music sharing shenanigans.
“A while back I drummed up a playlist called Monsters of (Mostly) British Post Hardcore. It was a journey in to the heart of the early 2000s post hardcore scene in the UK and beyond, with bits and bobs from other eras and related genres dotted around for variety.
"Well, like Mixedapes, MO(M)BPH has had a revamp. Many of the same bands still feature, and even a couple of the same songs, but it’s my mixtape and I’ll repeat if I want to.
"Post hardcore is still probably my favourite genre of music, and it really has had a huge influence on what I listen to and enjoy today. I hope you will give it a listen and enjoy some of it too.”
