I received this product for free from Picky and MIXSOON in exchange for my honest review. MIXSOON Bean Essence Paraben free, sulfate free, alcohol free, Eu allergen free, silicone free and fungal acne safe (malassezia). There is no added colouring, preservatives or fragrance. Texture: It is yellowish watery with texture of goopy slimy mucin of soybean. It doesn't have any scent at all. Review: I use it with an exfoliating toner and it works pretty good for my skin. It is hard to absorb if I am trying to layer this bean essence with many other hydrating products (non watery). It does help to balance out skin with ferments but it is not going to prevent breakouts so do use your dedicated acne products. I do find that it helps with stronger skin barrier, reduce redness, hydrate my skin and keep the moisture in. **Thanks to @go.picky @pickyrewards and @mixsoon_intl for sending this complimentary for my honest review.** Mixsoon Bean Essence is a multi-tasking essence that delivers intense hydration to the skin while providing gentle exfoliation and sebum care bringing dull skin back to life. Key Ingredients: - Fermented Soybean Extract of essential amino acids to help nourish and strengthen the skin - Fermented Pomegranate is rich in antioxidants and works to increase cell renewal, boost collagen production, and smooths skin - Fermented Barley moisturizes, revitalizes and strengthens the skin - Fermented Pear is loaded with Vitamin A and antioxidants that hydrates and smoothes the skin Texture/Scent: - The texture is quite viscous, a sticky and slightly thick consistency. No fragrance. A great multi-tasking essence that can be used as a serum or a gentle exfoliant to remove dead skin cells. On days I don’t need to exfoliant I simply tap the essence into my skin before my moisturizer, although it does take some time to fully absorb. When using as an exfoliant, I like to use 2 pumps, and massage the skin in circular motions for 2-3 minutes or until I feel the dead skin cells and other residue pull up. I then use a pad with one pump of essence to remove the residue from my skin. It’s gentle on the skin and leaves my skin feeling nourished. With consistent use skin texture is improved and is left feeling smooth. While it did relieve and calm redness I had from dry skin I didn’t find it as hydrating as I had hoped.
