Music Artist Get People Who Never Heard Of You To Buy Your Music
Do you want to know the easiest for you to get conert promoters, labels, and music fans to look at you as a professional artist that holds value? Carry yourself like a professional! I know that sounds like common sense, but this is something that majority of the indie artist trying to get their foot in the door just don’t understand.
I see a ton of unsigned artist that have good music, but their branding, graphics and marketing are shit, and those things are just as important as your music if you’re trying to get press, build your brand, grow your fanbase, sell music, or find investor to put money behind your music.
Think about it like this why would someone want to give you $5-$10 dollar for mixtape if it only looks like it’s worth $1 dollar lol . I’m not trying to be funny but that shit don’t make no sense.
Consumers want to feel like that saved money or got a good deal on any product they buy, they never want to feel like they paid too much for something it just doesn’t make sense especially music fans, and how they determine the perceived value of something is by how it looks so you have to make sure your product looks valuable and professional from your cover art to your packaging, and people won’t have a problem giving you $5-$10 dollars for because it looks like you invested a lot money into your project and they feel like they’re getting a deal.
So people ain’t hating when you try to sell them your mixtape with a faded mixtape cover and the track list written on the cd disc and they don’t buy it they just can’t justify in their head paying $5-$10 for something that looks cheap as hell and can you blame hell no! You wouldn’t pay somebody $20 for a shirt that looks like it’s worth $2 dollars would you? Exactly.
So don’t cheat yourself trying to save a couple dollars and give your brand a bad image hell if you don’t have the funds to get professional cover art and pay for professional recording you should stack up some money for a couple weeks and wait to drop your music. Don’t rush your project and settle for low quality shit just because its cheaper because if you have a low quality looking product people won’t buy it and you would just be hustling backwards
If you’re trying to take your music career to the next level you’re going to have to invest in yourself point blank period and when you try to cut corners or be cheap you’re not hurting anyone, but yourself.
The best way to get people to listen to your music who haven’t heard of you before is to have compelling intriguing artwork and professional packaging if your selling physical copies
