The new Netflix movie MIXTAPE is quite the movie. As I worked at a record store 1993-1999, the movie really works for me. One of the plot points of the movie is that the band The Quick was difficult to find. 22 years later you don't have to find some lost record, you can buy the Mp3s on Amazon & places. Cupid (2009) did a similar thing w/ the 45 of Otis Redding's You Left The Water Running in S01E06 Left Of The Dial. Power pop band Pointed Sticks we're equally difficult to find in the 90's.
