miyeoni
It was a Wednesday night and she was the first to know everything. And when he told her, it felt as if he could breath again, and his lungs were no longer constricted by his problems. Just knowing one person from his past accepted his present caused him to trust just a little more. Since then he plans Wednesdays with her. Outside or in her little flower shop, there was something about her that he tied peace with. Everything was hectic in Seoul, from his apartment to the downtown cafe’s nowhere ever settled him unless he was with her. So he could never stay for a quick “hello”, he stayed for hours, talking about what he felt and how last week treated him. He never wanted to treat her as a diary, but having someone to confide in, it made a whole world of a difference.
“Miyeon Miyeon Miyeon!” He sat at the edge of the stage and helped her up to sit with him. “I thought you wouldn’t come. When I saw you in the crowd, I thought I missed a note!” He dangled his feet over the edge, smiling at her as if they were the only beings in the world. “This week has been a little tough, but I’m glad you’re here. It’s starting to look up already.”
