I got tagged by the ever-interesting Emma (thanks!), so here's my list of 15 things that make your sobsister happy.  SPOILER ALERT: Neither "whiskers on kittens" nor "warm woolen mittens" will make an appearance.

Music.  Like, a lot.  Except most Top 40, contemporary country and noise metal.

Good pens on good paper.

A big, comfortable bed with a nice down in chilly weather.

Creating something I still like the next day.

The right glass of wine at just the right time.

Visiting my pups.

Autumn.

An unexplored used bookstore

A full moon on a clear night while it's rising close to the horizon.

The existence of the Internet.

A really good movie. (NB: Especially when I actually come down from the buzz the movie gave me. Which isn't as much fun, actually, but worth it.)

Things that are better than they need to be.

Correspondence with online friends.

Really good chocolate.

Waking up and thinking it's a weekday but, nuh-uh, it's SATURDAY!

You All Make My Heart Flutter!

I am now following your friend because, like her, my favorite thing about Tumblr is watching the little hearts flutter off when I like something. (Conversely, I also enjoy watching them shatter and break when I accidentally unlike something.)

Perfect! She'll appreciate that someone else shares her favourite aspect of tumblr, too! I am with you on the shattering front... The flutter is cute, but there is something that warms my cockles with a good heart shatter! I am not certain she is aware of "tumblr heartbreak" yet!

And it seems as though she may actually start to engage here! Which would be really cool. If she's been in my life since we were ten - and we are still as close we are... You know she's gotta be good people! Oh, and she is super fair like the two of us... Oh, I have such empathetic memories of a HORRID sunburn she got when we traveled together to Portugal! It was so raw... Ack. And no Foille to be found!

Oh! We had to pull out the Foille AGAIN this week... I was outside with the Ginger Prince for no more than 20 minutes, hiding in the shade as much as possible... Burnt neck and upper back! But again... The Silverback is so "rough" when applying the ointment! It starts to work immediately, but I have to go through being "man-handled" and additional pain to get some relief! I'm rambling... Enough!

Red! You had The Silverback laughing so hard at this comment! As I shared with you privately - I am pretty sure he thinks he's an "Internet Celebrity" now... Um, yeah, because so many people pay attention to my blawgie!

He did point out a quotation I missed yesterday... After Uruguay scored their first goal against England - he announced, "This is serious! Time for carrot juice!" And headed to the kitchen and loaded up on beta carotene! I'm guessing that for a legally blind person - carrot juice is some sort of special elixir! Who knows, though, with The Silverback!

I've actually missed a whole hella lot of funny shite he has broadcast from the sofa... I just cannot keep up with the fury of words exiting his gob! There were some really great ones when Germany slaughtered Portugal - as he is very anti-Portugal - but I was too much into the match myself. I'll try to do better over the next few days! USA is up against Portugal shortly... I expect some real classics to fly during that match! Double Jeopardy questions!
