Back again with some more stuff I’ve made in the past. This time, it’s the Flutter from Megaman Legends 1&2! Megaman Legends is one of those games that is super special to me. I played the Hell out of it back on the PS1, and do yearly playthroughs of it. It’s one of the reasons I own a PS3 still, because I have Legends 1&2 and Misadventures of Tron Bonne on there.
The Flutter is hung up from the ceiling. What kind of airship would it be anywhere else? Looks pretty great, and is always an eye catcher.
It’s primarily made up of EVA foam floor mats, and paint.
Here are some photos of it’s construction, back in… 2019?
I etched in some details with a box cutter, then heated the foam with a heat gun to open the cuts up. Just… ignore the mess of crafting materials and bottles of paint and glue everywhere on the floor. I can assure you, my living space isn’t nearly this messy on a regular basis, p-please believe me!
Despite the cockpit area not being very visible, I still wanted to add it for accuracy. And the windows are just some plastic from a package I had laying around.
And that’s about it. I’ve been planning on adding more air ships to join it, but just haven’t ever got around to it. I’m sure I will someday, though!
