Just watched Persuasion because of all the gifsets you reblogged. The letter scene is some good shit 👌.

IKR!! I'm gonna gif that scene as soon as I get the chance! Definitely considered top 3 of 'sexiest' scenes of Austen's work. PERIOD. The utter release in tension and swelling of feeling. The dual narration, reading the same words that go along side one another and sometimes collide/overlap into each other. Frederick's voice fading out for a few moments to let Anne's a reprieve before joining back in to finish off the letter. All done in a rushed whisper. UGH.

2/3 The plot is pretty simple bc the focus is almost completely on the characters AND ALL THE CHARACTERS ARE SO GREAT. It's also a really fricking funny show like I've laughed SO MUCH watching this drama. But not as much as I've absolutely bawled my eyes out. Srsly. I've cried nonstop for 4 episodes straight, like I couldn't stop crying??? BOTH FROM HAPPINESS AND SADNESS. I just... love my children Kim Shin and Eun Tak so much. Have I said the characters are really great??? Bc they are!!!

3/3 Sorry for the capslocking but I just got so excited bc i hadn't expected any Goblin posts since it's been over for a while now. Anyway if my incoherent screaming convinced you to watch Goblin you can watch it on Kissasian with subtitles. Okay cheers have a nice day. (Also btw be happy the show's been over for a while bc OF COURSE there was Age Discourse surrounding the main couple and claims of pedophilia lol.)
