For the Jewish holidays ask — Robby reading his partner (reader/Jack/dealer’s choice) the Song of Songs and Robby realizes how damn sexy it is as he reads it out loud.

(So this is reader and really ran away from me. Also I almost… almost made a Flynn Carsen reference because the second movie is the Mines of Solomon or something like that so the Song of Songs is mentions. Also I’m so sorry if you wanted it a little more on the smutty side, smut has been hard to write for me lately.)

“Oh come on Robby, please?” You ask holding the book out to him.

“Why the Song of Songs?” Robby sighs looking at you.

“Well I read that some Jewish communities read it during Passover and I like the sound of your voice.” You weren’t quite ready to tell Robby you started the conversion process, so you had to use all your cards for this moment.

“Passover isn’t for a few months, baby.” Robby hated the only reason he knew was to make sure any other Jews working in the ED had a chance to get their long breaks without worry.

You pouted, “Please honey, it could be fun.”

Robby sighs and looks to the ceiling before holding his hand out for the book, “Fine.”

You squeal and kiss his cheek, giving him the book. “Love you.” You take his hand and pull him to the couch. Robby lets you direct him then watches as you get yourself comfortable. Which is your head in his lap.

He chuckles softly and strokes your hair before opening to the page you marked. “Book of Shir HaShirin; Song of Songs,” he looks down at you, “You know there’s eight chapters right?”

“Yes, now read.” You say patting the book.

Robby shakes his head and starts. “The Song of Songs, which is Solomon’s. Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth— for thy love is better than wine.”

You sigh in contentment listening as Robby continues reading. As he continues though, he realizes his young mind wasn’t smart enough to pick up the clear subtleties of sexual desire in each line.

“O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the covert of the cliff, let me see thy countenance let me hear they voice; for sweet to they voice, and they countenance is comely.”

“Thy lips are like a thread of scarlet, and thy mouth is comely; thy temples are like a pomegranate split open behind thy veil.”

By the time Robby got to chapter 7, line 8, he was shifting under you. You look up to see his face red. “Honey?”

He clears his throat, “Yes baby?”

You blink at the gravel in his voice, something that only happens when… “Are you getting turned on?”

He turns his head and coughs. “It’s a little more erotic than I remember.”

You can’t fight the smile climbing your lips. Before Robby even realizes it, you’re sitting up, moving the pillow from his lap, and straddling him. You take the book and find where you stopped him. “… let thy breasts be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of thy countenance like apples;” You hum as Robby slides his hands under your shirt and cups your breasts.

“Keep reading baby.” He whispers.

You try to focus back on the page. “And the roof of thy mouth like the best wine, that glideth down— Ahh.” You moan as Robby pinches your nipples.

“Keeping going,” he says pushing your shirt up.

“— smoothly from my beloved, moving gently the lips of those they are asleep.” You close your eyes as Robby kisses over your breasts.

“One more line baby.” Robby nips at your skin before pulling your bra down.

Your eye lids flutter open letting the next line come into view. “I am my beloved’s, and his desire is towards me.”

Robby quickly moves you on to your back and tosses the book on to the coffee table.

Later, you make Robby apologize and kiss the book sorry.

On your post about WPNZ: I’m pretty sure it’s guaranteed he’ll be in CAV! It would be surprising if he wasn’t, I think Zam knows how disappointed everyone would be if they didn’t include him. That being said, I hope he’s part of the main cast and shows up pretty early on, there’s not much we can do except speculate since it seems like him and Puzzles were separated in the rift.

We can only hope and be patient once whatever CAV news ZAMinations has for us in store
