I like to think that in an AU where Sasuke stayed in the village, whenever Kakashi had to leave on a solo mission, Sasuke would get up to shit. Like leaving the village and tailing an ANBU team or smth. And Kakashi returning to having to deal with the aftermath of whatever Sasuke did.
I also like to think that he slowly got Taka into the village. Like, I can imagine Kakashi returning to find Sasuke at like a river with Suigetsu and being like, "Sasuke, did you kidnap someone?!?!?!?"
Next time, he returns from a mission, Suigetsu (apparently that was the boy's name and he's from the Mist) complaining and Sasuke braiding a red-haired girl's hair.
The next few times, Sasuke didn't bring anyone new, but the trio got up to so much shit. And then, BAM! Juugo is there, and Sasuke is helping him plant a garden.
While I love the idea of Kakashi being all romantic and taking the lead in the relationship, he's not the one sending the flowers.
Every morning there's a delivery of flowers to his office.
The whole village gossips about who Kakashi's mysterious admirer might be.
When asked, he says that it's just his boyfriend. That gets people talking even more. Some congratulate a very confused Gai, thinking that he's Kakashi's boyfriend
Every day Kakashi comes home to a sleepy and clingy Sasuke and gently scolds him for starting drama
I can definitely imagine a non-massacre AU where Taka all find each other somehow and Fugaku spends the longest time thinking Sasuke is dating Suigetsu. Sui gets invited to family gatherings and stuff and Sasuke's like "Why are you here?" "IDK you dad invited me."
In some alternate universe, Taka find themselves in Konoha while Sasuke's still a genin and Kakashi suffers.
At first Kakashi's happy that Sasuke's making friends but then he realizes they're a bad influence on Sasuke and had to be glued to him to make sure they stay out of trouble.
The little shits get their hands in top secret documents. Undetected!! The ANBU can't catch them. Kakashi's hair is turning white and he's considering becoming a missing nin.

For some reason I can't find some of my AUs/dumb "why did canon disappoint me so much" posts. So I'll just link the ones I found I kinda say what I think was going through my head at the time.
Post-Shippuden Team Taka having fun and being dumb. Team Taka holds a special place in my heart. I really liked them and their interactions and am kinda sad we didn't see more of them. They had been fucked over (in canon) and I wish thay had got to be happy and just do fun things together. I added Oro (even though they fucked them over in canon) because I just love them and think it'd be hilarious to see them try to "parent" those four.
Where did Sasuke get his clothes? Out of all the characters, I'd say Sasuke is the best dressed. His first outfit of Shippuden is iconic (as is his chunin exams outfit). But why does he change outfits so much? And more importantly, where does he get his clothes from? Baby just killed Oro, freed prisoners, hunted down Deidara to get info on his brother, then shows up to fight him in a brand new vest.
Uzumaki Bonding Naruto was alone since he was a baby. He is known for talking his enemies into changing. I just find it unlikely that he wouldn't want to get to know Karin, even if just a little. They're both Uzumakis, and if they don't bind over that, I think he'd at least want to know what Sasukw was up to those years he was with Taka.

Gojo Shippuden [Part2] This AU holds a special place in my heart. People have gone on and on about Gojo being the new Kakashi (which is fine, everyone is entitled to their own opinions), but Gojo would absolutely help Sasuke on his revolution. We're talking about the man who took up teaching to get strong sorcerers to help him overthrow the higher ups, he faked Itadori's death to keep him safe from the higher ups (in case they try to assassinate him), and in volume 0 (I'm pretty sure, I don't really remember) when the higher ups where telling him Yuuta should be killed he said something like," if you do something you know who's side I'm on."
Stopping my Gojo rant to actually talk about the AU. After Shibuya Gojo gets thrown into the Narutoverse and Orochimaru's hideout (pre Shippuden). He there tries to befriend Sasuke. I'd love to continue it, but I don't have the skills as of now.
