i cant watch the ep and i dont care about spoilers PLS someone describe wanda childas execution what happened to my girl

okay so basically the the wanda childa fake assassination happens because the bad kids have cracked down on the ratgrinders and chaos mother emily axford decided to bless us with this new fantastic wanda childa idea where she’s gonna go into rubens dreams again, right? she wants to basically make him think that because the ratgrinders have this plan with the shatterstars and keeping ankarna as a rage god that it’s the reason why he and wands can’t be together and fig wants to see if ruben will flip causes EXCEPT because of the protection they have on their minds she can only be a voyeur in his dreams essentially, but in that the bad kids figure out that rubens house is the ratgrinders base and not one to be deterred, figs NEW plan is to rock up to rubens house, throw rocks at his window in the rain (provided graciously by adaine) and when the balcony opens to reveal no one but also maybe(?) ruben, she profess her love and desire to be together but oh what? what’s this? kipperlilly? no - not kipperlilly, but thats the code word for fabian and k2 (kristens straight, slightly british clone) to SHOOT HER with a fucking CROSS BOW where fig then rolls a 34 performance and has a full “mmm whatcha say” death scene where her emo so tiny and so small thumb-hoodie falls open to reveal the same death markings as lucy and yolands and she then proceeds to lay fake dead in the rain until adaine casts enlarge/reduce on gorgug, they throw a big cloak on him and he grabs “dead” wanda childa and runs away ALL OF THIS just to sow seeds of doubt in ruben about the ratgrinders and kipperlilly and torment him over the death of his emo girl crush. it’s amazing. doubly so when later in the episode fig decides to disguise self as wanda childa again at fabians birthday party cause our emo queen shall never die.

what is your favourite headcanon for Luke? :3

okay so basically one of my all time favourite headcanons for luke (and there are MANY lol) are about his scars!

so like, lukes scars themselves are a wildly accepted headcanon (that in return of the jedi when palpatine uses force lightning on him it leaves being a series of lightning scars all over his torso/arms) and like i adore the concept of a hero not walking away unscathed, ya know? so i love his scars, but where MY personal favourite headcanon comes in is the aftermath of them

i love the idea of lukes scars like… reacting to the force? like cause they are a product of the force that whenever he connects and uses the force his scars just alight like maybe not literally (or maybe literally too 👀) but like there’s this hot, crackling pull that travels across his scars like leylines whenever he uses his power and like i don’t think of it as painful (or maybe it is when he pushes himself too far, goes too deep into the force, and im gonna make this dinluke for a moment but i just love the idea that in those moments din will almost reverently touch his scars and massage them for luke to ease the pain) but it’s more like this itch of pure energy and power and like when there are great disturbances within the force he feels it in his scars first

anyways yeah lukes scars being a living manifestation of the force is my JAM

AU crechemaster Din and knight Luke

okay im obsessed with this like-

luke is typically put into the school teacher/caregiver role in au's so i am so here for it being din's time to shine, because we see him with grogu and we know he good and kind to children so like in a jedi au, him being a creche master makes so much sense actually AHHH

im just imagining that like he and luke grew up in the temple together, din a few years ahead, and he and luke always kind of saw each other around but he neither really thought anything of it. and like years down the line din moves pretty swiftly through his padawan trials and training and was given a position in the creche rather quickly. cause like, din just has a way with kids. one wouldn't think it, he's reserved and a little grumpy at times, but he has the most patience, the most understanding, the most love that he gives to the younglings that anyone who visits the creche while he's on duty gets it immediately, luke included. and luke im just thinking of this moment where luke stops by for some reason and sees din in his element and his heart kind of skips, ya know? and then after that he kind of starts hanging around a bit more, offering to help, and din just kind of smiles but accepts the extra hands. and like once din is granted the title of master, luke (who is a knight himself at this point) kind of like, makes it his mission to go and prove himself as a knight- show the skills that he has as well - and like every time he comes back from a mission he'll go to the creche and tell all the younglings about his adventures and the good that's out there in the galaxy and he and din just sort of... drift together. a lot of stolen glances and soft brushes of the hands and it just all builds up into this explosion of a kiss and then suddenly there not just din and luke but dinandluke and it's kind of a secret but everyone also knows about it and it's just them both serving the order but finding a special home in each other

Who do you think fell first, Din or Luke?

oh!!! this is a good question okay!

to begin i don’t think it was insta-love or anything for either of them. not with how they met, like luke was there to answer grogus call and dins heart was being broken by having to say goodbye to his son, but i think in that moment there was probably some attraction on lukes end because it may be a joke in the fandom but din is like… exactly lukes type. from there with din trying to unsuccessfully visit yavin and luke ultimately sending grogu back (alone, mind you) to dins care i don’t think din would be having feelings for luke anytime soon. because on one hand luke is the man who he looked so hard for to help grogu and you can’t tell me he wouldn’t harbour a little resentment for that- a little anger for that moment on gideons ship where he had to say goodbye to grogu in lukes arms, and on the other, we know that din is hesitant when it comes to relationships. his devotion is important and comes first and that gives him pause.

luke though… i think that after he and din really get to talk again somewhere down the line after he finds them to offer grogu more training- luke falls fast. it’s easier for him, even with the jedi code in mind, lukes always been very open with his heart, not in a careless of callous way, but in the sense that he’s always loved connection and loved deeply. and becoming a jedi wouldnt change that, but amplify it. i think for luke he sees dins virtues- his strength, his loyalty, his wit, integrity and intelligence- and feels something deep twist in his gut. it’s instinct and i think after a few weeks luke just knows.

din falls slower. like l i think it would take him a few months to start looking at luke in a anything other than an acquaintance, to stop treating their time together as just meetings. and then i think it would be a few more after that for him to really admit the extent of what he’s starting to feel towards luke, but once he does it’s like all he can think about and he tries to avoid luke for a bit but ultimately he sees the same things luke had- that despite it all they work good together. really good. and the respect that luke has towards dins creed and his son and the way luke walks the world with an undeniable step of hope has him plummeting head over heels.

so luke definitely falls first and quietly pines for almost a year until din falls too and they just come together in this explosion of feelings and emotions and come together so easily and its like thats how it was always supposed to be.

do you think that Din and Luke are cat people or dog people? i myself have my headcanons, but since i'm a cat person they might be a little bit biased. /j

personally i think din is a dog guy, like he just feels like the dude who would roll up with just the most impeccably trained group of dogs. i think with his role as a bounty hunter too he’d want a pet that could be with him in that sense you know? he’d definitely have bigger more guard type dogs - like a space german shepard or pitbull - he’d have dogs that look intimidating but at actually just goobers

luke i honestly think would be the type of guy to be like ‘i love all animals!’ when he secretly does not see the point of having a pet dog or cat at all, but i think he would leave food out for the random cat that lurks around his school in the evenings and they have a friendship where if he’s meditating outside sometimes the cat will come and sit down near him

when they end up living together luke does come to love dins dogs and din gives lukes ‘definitely not my pet’ cat head scratches and they’re both happy with a mix of having both animals around :) (definitely no reptiles as pets though whatsoever grogu can not be trusted around them)

Fibbing-ignorance-meet-cute mechanic Din and secret identity formula one racer Luke

yessssss omg i love this

tweaking this a bit in my brain because if we're making luke a racer i cannot imagine him as anything other than a good ol' texas boy and ya'll know that means NASCAR - but that idea is so good i can see it now, like it's the off-season or maybe luke has had to stop driving because he was in an accident, so he decides to take the time to fix up an old car that used to be his fathers. the only problem? he has no idea where to start. enter din and his new auto shop that he's been trying to open for years and he now finally has the means to do it- it's the talk of the town, this newcomer who moved in and opened up shop, so luke decides to take his fathers car down, and oh? what's this? din is the only one in the shop who has experience in vintage car restoration? obviously luke falls head over heels in love immediately with the quiet and gruff mechanic (who has grease under his nails but the kindest eyes he's ever seen) and the falls even more so when he realizes that din has no idea who he is, unlike everyone else in town and din is just as smitten with the passionate young man who knows a lot about cars yet nothing about them at the same time (and who has the brightest smile that makes his stomach ache) and as they work on the car together they grow closer all while luke tries his best to try and find the right time to tell din 'hey im kinda NASCAR famous' before any of the other townsfolk can (when he does find out din is just more confused than anything as to why luke would try and hide it and after they talk it through din and grogu go to lukes next big race and cheer him on and it sweet and lovely and nothing hurts)

Okay if Din and Luke were dogs what breed would they be and why?

lol in all seriousness im not too sure! as a dog lover i am woefully under informed about different dogs breeds and the such! i think for din id say a husky or an akita? loyal, hardworking and sturdy! i think those are all things din as a person values, so it translates well! for luke id say an australian shepherd, strong and fast, devoted to their families and surprisingly agile which i think fits with lukes jedi-ness!

how would Dinluke survive customer service?

tHANK YOU BESTIE for giving me an opportunity to shamelessly plug my fic ‘boys workin’ on empty’ over on ao3 which is a fic where i decided to take dinluke and make it retail lol

but ALSO- i firmly believe luke would survive by half the time trying to find places to hide and sit down for a few moments so he can rest and avoid people and the other half he’s just pretending he’s playing customer service/retail simulator

din just dissociates completely until he’s suddenly picking grogu up from daycare and making them dinner and he has absolutely no clue what he did at all during work hours

but they both survive the most by letting each other bitch and complain about each others days and then spend a lot of quality time together just decompressing :’)
