In my personal favorite DinLuke AU (and the story I'm slowly plotting), there's a man named Frank who regularly gets drunk and ends up wandering around on the church roof. In broad daylight. Naked.

Naturally, John has to deal with it every single time.

Frank only trusts John.

And John likes to act like he's the only cop in Ashwood who actually has everything under control.
