The Rainbow Temple is a godly temple that is owned by rainbow goddess, Iris Liu. This temple is located in Outworld, on the outskirts of Sun Do, and accepts anyone of any species and gender, granted that they pass Iris’ aura check. Basically what Iris’ aura check is her sensing the vibe of anyone she finds or comes up to her wanting to join the temple, sensing if the person is genuine in their words, or is up to no good. While The Rainbow Temple accepts everyone of any species and gender, they have to be over the age of five if they want to train in the temple’s dojo, and over the age of eighteen if they want a job within the temple. As Iris is a good boss, employees and students within the temple are free to take days off whenever for however long they need, granted that they let Iris know so she can replace them if she needs to. When students finish their training, they’re free to stay in the temple and become part of the temple staff, or leave to go and do whatever they please.

What goes on in the Temple?
To put it simply, a lot goes on within The Rainbow Temple. With all of the jobs within the temple, someone is always doing something, whether that’s the teachers training the students of the temple in the dojo, the librarians sorting out the librarian as someone studies or reads away, someone meditating and taking in all the pretty plants of the garden as the gardeners tend to the said plants, or the janitors making the temple a clean and serene place to be. One of the special things that happens within The Rainbow Temple, is that they host most of the weddings that take place within Outworld, due to how pretty the temple is, both Sindel & Jerrod getting married there, and Megan and Shang Tsung getting married there. Like with the staff and the students within the temple, they host weddings no matter the species or genders of the people getting married.

The Rainbow Temple’s Training Rooms: (The training rooms would have rugs on the floors so it would be soft on the students and staff who are training within them. The reason that it's rugs and not carpet is because rugs are easier to clean.)
Physical Health: As Iris is a goddess, her physical health is pretty top tier. She has a few scars from battles she’s been in and stretch marks here and there, but that’s about it.
Mental Health: Mentally, Iris isn’t as fortunate. While Iris isn’t really depressed, she does have down days. While she enjoys being a goddess, protecting Outworld, Earthrealm, their allies and citizens, she does wish to just be treated like a normal person and not like a goddess. That’s part of the reason she set up her Rainbow Temple in Outworld, as she’s seen as a normal edenian by most who visit for the first time, and not as a goddess like when she visits her brother in Earthrealm.

Backstory:
In this timeline of the Mortal Kombat universe, Iris is still a goddess, just not an elder goddess like she was in MK1, as Liu Kang saw the pain and struggles that Iris went through with being an elder god. This is also the reason that Liu Kang made Iris his sister, to make sure she got the love and support that she didn’t really get in the previous timeline.
In the previous timeline, Iris was more of a free-roaming goddess, going wherever someone needed her, or she felt like being, staying mainly in Earthrealm, feeling that that’s the realm that probably needed more protection than the other realms.
In this timeline, much like her brother Liu Kang, Iris has her own temple, called The Rainbow Temple, taking inspiration from Liu Kang’s Fire Temple. While Liu Kang’s Fire Temple is in Earthrealm and trains mainly Earthrealmers, Iris’ Rainbow Temple is in Outworld, near Sun Do, (The reason that I put The Rainbow Temple near Sun Do is because they have the same vibes, with both locations being pretty damn elegant and regal) and trains almost anyone that Iris finds or comes to her Rainbow Temple doors, no matter their species. (Iris uses her aura sensing on anyone she comes across or comes to her, so see if they actually need/want her help, or are just hoping to start something. If the latter turns out to be true, either Iris herself will handle the situation, or she’ll have one of her students or Temple staff to handle the situation to test their skills.)

Iris doesn't really see anyone as competition. Either she likes someone or she doesn't, and either someone likes her or they don't. If anyone ever wants to compete with her, she's fine with it as long as it's in a friendly way. If Iris were to have to pick someone she sees as friendly competition is Lady Shenra.

Iris is super kind! One of the kindest OCs that I have! Iris loves spreading kindness in many different ways, though she won't do anything that someone is uncomfortable with (which to her is a way of spreading kindness as well as she's considering her friend's interest).

As Iris is a lover of fruit, she loves pineapple on pizza! She just loves how the sourness and sweetness of the pineapple compliments the savoriness of the pizza!
I'm removing my mk1 stuff. Not deleting it so I can get it back if I want or if anyone wants to read my old stuff, but for now I think I'll just stick to my mk11 stuff.
I may just my ocs be the same in mk1 as they are in mk11. like, for example, in mk11 and mk1 Megan will be with Kitana. I may have some of the backstories be a little different, but everything else will be the same.
The ship that I do intend to keep for mk1 that I had thought of will be Iris and Ashrah, but that's bc Jacqui isn't in mk1, and I think a demon and a goddess dating would be cool.
My reasoning for this is bc I want Iris to remain an Elder Goddess in this timeline like she was in MK11, and as Liu Kang is the only one that we've seen so far, it just makes sense to me to make them related.
