Blog Updates!

I know I have v few followers, and rarely (if ever) have conversations on here anymore [basically, I have become a lurker who reblogs and screams incoherently a lot in the tags and we’re all going to be okay with that] BUT I fell into a hyperfocus tunnel today and completely reformatted my entire blog! 

New theme, updated title and bio (FINALLY), and even taught myself a little bit how to code which is thrilling! Username still the same (I’m too fondly attached to it now) and at the very present moment, so is my icon, but that one also definitely needs to be changed (it’s just been daveed diggs as lafayette since 2015 like jfc margaret get it together) and will be once I can decide on ONE amongst all the lovely 911 icons out there.

This is purely a post to bring it to your attention, so if you are so inclined, go check it out! (I am entirely too proud of and extremely too fragile about it)

After so many years of me saying “i’ve tried it’s always sunny in philadelphia, i just haven’t been able to get into it!” I’ve finally watched it all and I’m OBSESSEDDDDD. done all 16 seasons in about a week, just in time for dtamhd and IT’S ALL SO FUCKING GOOOOOOOD!!!!! just in time for no new content :,,,( and I will now be iasip-posting so any good recs for blogs to follow or fics to read, come talk to me!

I’m SO far behind on all my stuff for school/teaching so unfortunately, I think the way for me to get that done is to not watch the new 911 tonight.  😭 😭 😭

alllllllllllllright, officially clocking out for the night. unfortunately I have an abstract for a paper due tonight at midnight and I have NO CLUE what I’m writing about (the Iliad just evokes incredibly strong emotions and connections in me, but it is NO thoughts, head EMPTY in terms of paper ideas)

also, fun fact, I do NOT recommend slowly reading the Iliad and being at Books 21-24 while 5b is airing!! We had to read Patroclus’s “never bury my bones apart from yours, Achilles, let them lie together” IN THE GREEK for class today and I am emotional about patrochilles at the best of times, BUT in the very MIDST of eddie diaz breakdown arc??? with all the tsoa quotes these evil (but so so lovely) gifmakers keep using over the shooting scenes??? I can’t, I’m out.

I’ll be back in the clown car unhinging any tether to reality I had left tomorrow :)

yall I was not able to handle my emotions last Monday but in the meantime, I’ve had two huge mental breakdowns, had a birthday party for my roommate, and watched the entirety of Bridgerton S2. so am now going to wade back through all the analysis and spec from last week before tomorrow kills me again

also not me just realizing that if I hadn’t skipped both my classes today bc of pain from my surgery I could have had BUILT. IN. DISTRACTIONS. and I would probably not be so unhinged and vibrating at such a high frequency rn

hahaha, I just meant a resurgence among my own brain. Reddie hasn't been the prominent hyperfixation up there in a bit (taken over by 911 and Ted Lasso lol).
