with seeing how new york might be in control resonant, the real question i got is

also idk what it is, but there's just something about jesse and alan referring to each other by their last names...like...i feel like it's going to be so impactful if they ever meet and refer to each other by their first? and idk esp since only a few people seem to call alan by his first name it's like. a special privilege lol (didn't he actually legit say that in the novelization i feel like he did in a convo with sarah)

(and also juxtaposed with how saga almost immediately refers to him as alan, how once they're settled in the lodge and stuff and she gets up saying "Mr. Wake...Alan," to like. soften him up of course for her and casey's line of questioning but it just like. idk also starts that foundation for their collaboration at the end, and i know it's just part of his general growth but if somebody tried to pair up on an ending in aw1? forget about it. aw2 though? he finally found the hero he needed and it just makes me so interested to see how aw and control could possibly collide again with maybe more direct interaction between the characters)
