Regarding Mileena's and Kitana's relationship,
Personally, I really wish that Kitana would've accepted Mileena as her sister. Mileena's creation to replace Kitana aside, Mileena is Kitana's half-sister, technically anyway. Mileena didn't ask to be created, and was unjustly blame for it. Who Kitana really should blame is Shao Kahn.
And no, I'm not saying they accept each other as a sister figure strictly because they're related in the loosest sense of the word. But rather, they choose to accept each other as sisters with a common enemy, Shao Kahn. The common denominator for them both is Shao Kahn; Mileena was created for him, and Kitana's been deceived her whole life and taken as a reward of conquest by him.
Yes, Mileena is part-Tarkatan, but she's also explicitly half-Edenian. Specifically, she was made with Kitana's D.N.A. Biologically they're related, but what matters to me most, is that they choose each other as family.
Also, Mileena isn't any less of a person with her own agency. Her creation and biology doesn't negate that.
It just really irritates me that rather than welcoming someone -who's first instinct on seeing her is to think them a sister-, Kitana attacks and shuns her. Which instantly sets the two as enemies. But that's just my opinion.
Going off my opinions on canon, I like the two as rivals, but this is my preference. As in, in a perfect MK world/timeline where good things actually happen, and there's no perpetual war between Good and Evil. Going off of MK9's Kitana ending, their budding relationship as sisters is shown to be possible.
I'm rambling, but yeah, this is just my thoughts and feelings on Mileena's and Kitana's relationship.

As of right now,I am barely active in the Death Note and Evillious Chronicles fandoms. Currently, I am only slightly more active in the Fire Emblem fandom, as I am playing Awakening. But overall I still have little interest in most things. I mean, sure if you love a series and wanna squeal about it go ahead, inbox's right there. Tell me all the great stuff of DanganRonpa or something,I guess, or something. There's a very high chance you guys won't even read this far so I guess I'll call this message quits for now.
