Tara i a transperson? Go figure.
Actually no, I didn’t write her as a trans woman, but I say that only because I want to be transparent with readers. I drew tara wearing that shirt because I (and she) think that trans people are very important to the community, especially since a lot of them still face discrimination. But to viewers who would like to think of Tara (or any of my characters, really) as trans are correct! I want people to be able to see themselves in my characters.
You may not have intended this, but your response of “go figure” here seems very rude. I don’t really have any authority on how to explain that to you because I’m cis, so... passing the baton on this one.

yeah that’s very true. ananda and the abbot are both so uncomfortable thought they spend the next two hours trying to explain it as sterilely as possible, where she understands but is also just like “EWWW WHY??”
