Minah had finished up quite a bit later than she’d expected to, but that wasn’t what was wrong. What was wrong was that she hadn’t heard from Joonki. No whining, no complaining, no bribing.... Nothing. In hours, which was incredibly worrisome, and not just because he could be off somewhere with Talia doing something crazy. It was worrying that poor Min might be in his studio somewhere because Joonki dragged Talia off to get a tattoo or something else that Minah probably didn’t approve of. But, surprisingly, when she went by the dressing rooms, the lights were still on and there he was. “Hey, handsome, come here often?” she laughed, walking up behind him. @mkxjoonki
“It’s not a date,” she muttered to herself as she stared into the bathroom mirror, touching up her makeup. “This is not- It’s not a date, Minah. You are bribing him to give you your glasses back. He retracted his interest. This is not a date, got it?” Thank god no one else was around; that would’ve created more questions than she had answers to. Turning on a heel, she made her way back to the studio she was working in so she could close up for the night. There were no official lessons scheduled, and hopefully no one would need her to stay late. Even with no signs of any other people, she hurried away after shooting Joonki a text to meet her at her car.
She sat herself on the hood of her car, a bad habit, really, but one she had no need to break. And for the next few minutes, she did her best to occupy herself with her emails, even though most of them were just junk. It went on like that until she heard footsteps heading her way. “You know, I can practically hear the grudge you’re holding when you walk,” she called out, not looking up just yet. She had to do something to keep the upper hand, even if it was only in her mind; she couldn’t show too much interest yet. Before he could stop her, though, she jumped down and made her way to him, pulling him in for a kiss. It wasn’t exactly quick, but she didn’t care. “Still not interested?” she laughed, a smirk on her lips. @mkxjoonki
Minah had no idea why she was even doing this, but before she really had time to talk herself out of it, she was in the car on the way to go get a very drunk and very sweet Joonki. In her experience, drinking usually made people more abrasive, not less. She didn’t want him driving, though, so she offered to bring him home (even if her kindness was only so she wouldn’t feel guilty if something happened to him). They were still on the phone, at her request, when she parked her car and headed into the bar. “Stay on the phone until I get to you, okay?”
Looking around for a minute, she finally spotted him and quickly made her way over. She smiled at the fact that he really didn’t have a drink in his hand. “Hi, Joonki. You can hang up now,” she laughed, ending the call and slipping her phone into her back pocket. Maybe things were a little less tense now that he’d been drinking, but maybe they weren’t necessarily better. She’d have to wait and see. “C’mon, let’s get you home, yeah?” @mkxjoonki
Talia was having withdrawl symptoms, as much as she would hate to admit. Joonki had been gone for entirely too fucking long as far as she was concerned and she’d been forced to realize that there were exactly two people in her life that weren’t her mother: Minjun and Joonki. And she loved Min more than anything in the world, but he was her love, not her best friend. He was the person she fell asleep with at night in the comfort of her bed, not the person who she fell asleep in the bathtub next to because he was too drunk to go to bed in fear of throwing up all over his comforter in the night.Â
Needless to say, it had been a hard week. Or was it two? Whatever, it sucked.
Her drive to the airport was filled with screaming at passing cars and speeding a little too much, but she didn’t care. Checking her watch, curses left her mouth, her hands hitting the wheel in anger. His plane would be in any minute and she wasn’t there yet. She needed to see him now.
Toe tapping in anticipation, she scanned the crowd until she found him; permanent scowl, her year-old sunglasses on top of his messy hair, coffee in hand. Then she was running to him, grabbing him and wrapping her arms around his neck, most likely squeezing the ever-loving shit out of him. But she didn’t care. “You are never allowed to fucking leave me again, you hear me? Never, not once.”
Ever since they’d become friends, Talia had been trying to get Joonki to go for a tattoo with her. Granted, it was usually when they were drunk, but that hadn’t stopped him from getting several questionable piercings. It was a mind blowing feat to get him to agree to go with her, and she planned on making the most of it. She hadn’t decided what exactly she was going to get, or where she’d get it, but uncertainty had never stopped her before.
Quickly parking her bike in her garage, she climbed into her truck and took off, heading back to the MK building. She snuck back in, not that it was really necessary since she was supposed to be there anyway, and set off to find her best friend. First, she went to the cafeteria, partially to look for him and partially to buy herself a shitty cup of coffee. She headed to the next place she thought he’d be, running into him on the way there. “Just the guy I was looking for. I’m breakin’ you outta here, J.”
it was like taming a lion, at least to her, and somehow she’d gotten joonki to sit next to her on the couch. maybe he was hungover? that was the only explanation she could think of. moving her legs so she was sitting on her knees, eunah hesitantly places her hands on his shoulders, pressing her thumbs into his skin and moving them in circles. she’d never actually given a shoulder massage before, so she was going off of what she’d seen in movies.Â
Sharing a bed, patching a wound, finding your muse wearing their clothing
sharing a bed
They’d spent their Friday night in typical Talia fashion: drinking and causing some kind of chaos. But it was getting late and there was no way either of them were in the condition to drive him back to his place. Both had had too much to drink to even think about walking in a straight line, let alone getting into a car. “Hey, asshole. It’s cold tonight and I’m not turning my heat on. Cuddle me.” She opened her arms, inviting him to climb into her bed so they could get some much needed sleep.
patching a wound
“Jesus Christ, J. You’re such a fuckin’ mess,” Talia sighed, pulling out a first aid kit. “Don’t judge me, I keep my emergency vodka in here because it cleans wounds really well. Never had to use it before, but there’s no time like the present, yeah?” Cracking the bottle open, she took a quick sip before pouring the alcohol over the fresh cut on Joonki’s foot. “I told you not to walk around without slippers on. I dropped a plate yesterday and I thought I got all of it but I haven’t had the chance to vacuum yet.”
finding him wearing her clothes
Talia laughed loudly, shaking her head. “J, that’s my shirt, you know that, right?” Examining him, she rolled her eyes at the fact that he had her very old, very worn Metallica shirt on. It was one of her favorites; she’d had it since she was a teenager. “Planning on going into work like that? You can borrow it, but if it comes back to me in the less than vintage condition it’s in now, I’m ruining your favorite shirt.”Â
