Actually, how does one draw hair period? what's with me picking fandoms where people have hair??? this is three fandoms in a row where I struggle with hair /silly

Anyways, Cat!Alya.

Fun fact, made myself a custom brush pattern to use for Alya's shirt.

Rena Rouge and Carapace for the catverse AU. [Alya] | [Nino]

Rena looks way closer to a fox- so much so I actually gave her a longer snout- until I remembered they still need to look like cat hybrids- so a shorter "cat"-like nose was edited.

No accessories.

Depicted in a quad stance but she's mainly on a biped/hind legs stance like Ladybug.

She's a lot taller than her peers.

Carapace on the other hand has some accessories (he has a hood, goggles, and if it counts... his shield).

Like Rena and Ladybug, primarly on biped stance (depicted in quad stance for reference sake)

Earless in this form. He NEVER takes off his hood because of it.

Short tail and clawed paws.

Baaaack to my cat shenanigans- in another fandom- again...

Fun fact, I actually did this almost two years ago. (I also did designs for Marinette/Ladybug... I just never posted those online) I just never used tags when I first posted it. I wanted to revisit the designs and update it. Nooootes time!

So- as a refresher. In my "catverse" style AUs, usually cats of higher class tend to walk on their hind legs only. So, cavtverse!Adrien is forced to do so because walking on all 4s is seen as juvenile.

I already kinda stretch things by giving the cats some form of clothing (most of the times, irl cats don't like being clothed). I doubt these kitties would enjoy full body suits- so any super hero form may have something more unique to it. By that I mean... the forms may be cat + animal hybrid based on what their miraculous is (so for example, a cattified Ladybug may have some actual ladybug features and also be smaller, Rena Rouge may look more like a fox rather than a cat, etc).

... considering that Chat Noir is already... a cat- it may seem a bit lame, however-

Chat is mainly on all 4s, rarely on hind legs. He can use his staff surprisingly well with his prehensile tail.

His old design has some blonde streaks, decided to remove these in the revamp. (Still kept the two cheek stripes tho).

The cat ring has been turned into a bracelet (I could technically still have it as a ring since they are kinda- a mix of anthro/cartoon and feral cats, but still)

I mentioned Chat being on all 4s. Honestly I can imagine him being more on the "feral' side, so he may act like a regular cat more often.

As mentioned on the Adrien/Chat Noir post- the hero forms won't really be the kitties in full suits, but rather a fusion between the civilian form + the animal the miraculous represents- sooo... cat!Ladybug had the antennae, elytra and an extra set of limbs.

Honestly I struggled a bit with the super hero form. I didn't want to make her all red with spots all over. I kinda did a compromise and I added some red 'accents' (mask, bandana, elytra and yo-yo). Plus, real lady bugs aren't completely red, it's only their elytra/wing shell.

For the "hind vs all legs thing": I can imagine Ladybug staying on her hind legs, meanwhile Mari is on all 4s. In a way to contrast her and Adrien. [Adrien being of high class and needing to keep an image, Marinette being a commoner/young kit. Meanwhile Chat that wants to be free and have no responsibilities running on all 4s, while Ladybug tries to show a more 'grown up' style].
