Are you gonna also redesign the kwamis (the main 7 at least) for your au?

Only in like a minor way!! I’ll probably keep them looking the same, but I gave Tikki wings and other small details that is basically just her canon design!

I probably won’t mess with it much tho, I like their canon designs and rock with it enough to leave them alone ASHDHDB

If Nooroo are a Butterfly, why he only have the superior wings? Not the 2 pair?

Nooroo is based on a butterfly yeah, and i drew his wings like that because it looked less cluttered and nicer to look at, i thought.

Since hes not *acually* a butterfly, its not important to be practical about his appearance. Granted, if he wanted to have a form that was more accurate to his animal he would have both pairs of wings.

The Dark Miraculous Box – Transformation Phrases

Thanks to @gothandflowers I decided not to change the Buffalo and Raven miraculouses, at least not for the moment. So, that means I'll get to continue developing these concepts. Anyway, also I wanted to know if anyone knows an artist accepting commissions so they can help me design the Kwamis and the miraculouses.

Wasp Miraculous

Transformation: Prikkel, stinger ready.

Detransformation: Stinger down.

Swan Miraculous

Transformation: Ottila, waddle in.

Detransformation: Waddle away.

Skunk Miraculous

Transformation: Beppe, stink up.

Detransformation: Clean up.

Buffalo Miraculous

Transformation: Vojakk, lock horns.

Antlion Miraculous

Transformation: Kassa, set the trap.

So I don’t remember if I’ve discussed this before. But the Kwami in MLB are, inherently, unable to fully understand humans

They are gods. Gods of primordial aspects and personality traits. Gods can be benevolent or at the very least, not malevolent. But even the benevolent ones are so powerful that their concepts of proper behavior don’t translate into humanity at all.

Just look at Plagg. He sunk Atlantis and destroyed the dinosaurs. And in both cases, he seemed unapologetic and nonchalant about it. And he’s benevolent, and wants to help.

Tikki, similarly, is nonchalant about things that impact humans. When Marinette kept struggling with her emotions, Tikki kept pushing her to just be nice. To not be mean at all. Humans can’t be positive all the time, it will ruin them, and just make them explode later.

They are so far removed from humanity and how humanity feels and lives, that they can’t understand humanity. After all, if you don’t know how someone feels and lives, you have no chance of ever understanding them.
