I know it’s a long shot but anyone know how to fix MLB tv on Apple TV??

 My parents are trying to watch the game on their Apple TV but MLB is giving them an error message that just says there was a problem please try again later. I’m out so can’t help them much but it seems odd cause the play by play is updating just no video but also no restricted/ blackout message.

Can anyone give me some reviews on MLB TV? I'm currently living sans-cable and I'm thinking the Premium subscription might be worth it to be able to watch Red Sox games streaming on my BluRay (I live in DC so any games vs Orioles/Nats will be blacked out) but I have some serious questions about whether it's worth $130/year or not. Any thoughts?
