Cong doubles its tally in Telangana Legislative Council after defection of BRS MLCs

The midnight defection of six MLCs of the Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) has doubled the strength of the ruling Congress party to 12 in the 40-member Telangana Legislative Council.

The joining of six MLCs in one go came as another big jolt to the main opposition party, which has already lost six MLAs to the ruling party.

Dande Vittal, Bhanu Prasad, B. Dayanand, Prabhakar Rao, Egge Mallesham and Basavaraju Saraiah formally joined the Congress party around 1 a.m. after the return of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy from Delhi.

Assembled versions of the unfinished (and super stiff) animations for the thing I abandoned as too much work for too little payoff, which in retrospect was inspired by Pirate Baby's Cabana Battle Street Fight 2006.

A lot of my work hasn't been so much that I'm an "artist" or anything so much as "Sometimes I manage to cobble together enough spite to manifest something that didn't exist already." Hence the dabbling in music that resulted in some crude stage music, confrontation screen music, and questionable battle music.

Better World

I started this test animation (this pic being the last frame of "jumping down from the sky" before the idle animation I didn't get to) so I could at least stage a boss fight in a short video (I believe this whole thing was inspired by a Paul Robertson "fake game" short, come to think of it), but it wasn't interesting enough to finish even a FAKE game, so much that I didn't even do shading...

Vice (above) actually has an entire setlist, but I want to scrawl that out on a separate post. Just wanted to post this for the symmetry. For now, let's just go with "Better World" by Infusion for his theoretical boss music, even though HE'S the one doing the pushing around. (I'd go with "Finale" by Madeon, but I feel like that's somehow too laid back?)

Doomsday

I somehow never posted this here, I guess? A sort of Paul Robertson-style test sprite for a game I never made bc MAKING GAMES IS A LOT OF WORK WHO KNEW

(I got as far as starting a rough run cycle and a "shock, draws gun" animation before getting frustrated with the process, particularly given how long colour AND shading takes)

Anyway, Versa (above) in "Phase 1" would have two theme songs, I think... the middle parts of "Brain Laboratory" by Aviron for general stuff and "Doomsday" by Nero whenever something bad happens... which is usually, no thanks to SOMEBODY =p
