I'm doing it!

I'm adding the Milk Hare to my Rabbits in Folklore enamel pin series for Halloween! I just started the prelaunch page here and I'm working on a Medieval/Illuminated manuscript color edition of the triple rabbit design PLUS both designs will have custom cards with the folklore on the back!

I'm hoping to finish and launch this Friday Sept 12th!

There will also be some tiny originals as rewards!

And if you missed the first campaign, some of the original designs will be available as add ons!

Thank you to everyone that made this small last instalment of Rabbits in Folklore a success by spreading the word ! You've brought something really weird and special into the world -- a demonic barfing bunny. I couldn't be more proud. Thank you.

The remaining pins in the production are now in my Etsy shop. I'm so happy with how they came out! The three color Tinner's Rabbits have clear enamel in their ears and eyes and it really gives them a nice pop of depth! This project also gave me the extra bit of financing needed to get the pins on custom double-sided backing cards that have their stories on the back - which feels like being published! :)

Enamel Pin spinner stretch goal

My rabbits in folklore pin project is up now and its hit the mid campaign slump because I forgot how to use social media!

After I did my large Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit enamel pin campaign, I ran prototypes of the two backer favorite stretch goal designs that weren't unlocked. I'm currently running a one week mini campaign to try to produce some of these for holiday shows.

It runs until 10 am CST Tuesday Aug 20th! Please share if you can! <3

Just finished the color on this yesterday. I always say I'm going to do a holiday card and then time gets away from me, so *boom*, Wheel-o-Buns is now promoted to festive greetings!

ARTIST ALLEY STAMPS!!

Inspired by eki/train station stamps in Japan, I am trying to start an Artist Alley Stamp tradition as a free interactive art project to share at conventions and live events. Each year I’m creating a new stamp that will be available for free to visitors at my table at shows. I’m picking a unique color for each show. Visitors can stamp their own paper or book, take a pre-made stamp print, or when available, receive a passport book from me!

I would love to see other artists create their own stamps to share and for visitors to come back show after show to get a new stamp! I kicked it off with the Chinese Zodiac, starting with Year of the Rabbit last year, and it was a big hit at A Kon and San Japan!

Which brings us to 2024 - Happy Year of the Dragon! For this design I played around with symmetry and tried to reflect the numeral shapes of 2 and 4 in the dragon’s composition! I also found some really great earth tone papers at Austin Creative Reuse for the individual prints!

My Rabbits in folkore enamel pin campaign has two weeks left and is 68% funded. (Today is 4/16/2024 and it ends May 1st.)

I've been off social media so long I don't know if that means I should panic or not?
