Story : He works as an assistant for archivists or notaries at the castle. It helps to find and organize a lot of paperwork. He is serious and competent but he knows that sometimes you have to search stuff illegally to get results.
He got the power to become two. How? With a curse ? magic ? i don't know. He keeps the secret. But thanks to it, he can work faster and be in two places at the same time. To look for evidence for his cases in the field, for exemple. But he has to be careful. Splitting into two, halves his skills and strength over time. And his mind sometimes has trouble merging again.
