An Mlp au: a personal version of what generation 5 could have been (this isn't a replacement or a rewrite, more like a gen 6 tbh)

The four main earth pony characters are Wysteria, Smoothe, Minty, and Kanako. Earth ponies live in densely forested areas because of the nature magic, and love to explore these areas to discover more plants, but Wysteria is has reservations about the evergreen forest. What lurks there?

Wysteria is the pragmatic leader of the Earth ponies. They originally had one princess, but when she came along she decide a group of ponies should lead instead. She discovered that ponies working together could group one big plant, and she cares for the ponies of ponyville more than anything

Smoothie explores the outer areas in search of cool plants to add to her smoothies. She's adventures and comes off as completely fearless. Wysteria is always looking out for her

Menthra Minerva, or Minty for short, has plant magic that allows her to grow mint leaves that she uses to make mint candy, although all the food she makes tends to be mint flavour somehow. She tends to get along with everyone, and is a big reason Wysteria and Smoothie are even still friends

Kanako's "plant" magic allows her to create large, bouncy mushrooms that she uses to to do tricks. Do you her ability to create fungi and not plants, she's about outlasted from other ponies and is a bit reckless. She's in favour of exploring the outer parts of the world alongside Smoothie
