Early January Nothing with a game
It’s been a while since I wrote new about video games. So to remedy that I’m going to easy mode and wrote about what’s happening now in gaming. -Steam trying to implement full controller support for all their games, without having to use a third party software. Which is nice. -Oh and a new patch for WoW is comming. -Sega wishes to remake Shenmue 1 and 2. Sega now owns two sites called: ShenmueHD.com and ShenmueRemastered.com. That would suggest that something is happening there. I think that would be something really nice if it would really happen. Not everybody owns a DreamCast or an Original Xbox and with the comming of Shenmue 3 it would be a good way to get the attention from the masses.
Finally let’s quickly check out Steam Greenlight to see if something interesting wants to get through. There’s a little puzzle game called Night Lights that looks like a really competent game!
The basic idea of this 2D is to use the light to make things disappear when it touches it allowing you to move boxes, use ladders or even go through solid walls. The art style is really pleasant and calming to look at too, so there’s some genuine effort put into this game.
