SP karmas are stronger than Top-up Flower SSRs(the karmas with the highest stats before SPs came) when they are fully evolved. However, fully evolving them takes effort (and money).

SP karmas have 10 stages of evolution. An SP karma on 3rd or 4th stage of evolution surpasses the stats of an average two-stat SSR karma. Zero stage SP is weaker than SSR.
What Do You Need To Evolve SP Karmas?
SP karmas don’t require memory stardusts. They need SP karma shards or light shards(name may change in EN server).
You can get SP karma shards by exchanging duplicate SPs in karma pass. That is, if you want to evolve your SPs, you need more than one.
Or these purple light shards(name may change in EN server) can be used to evolve all SPs but it takes a lot of time collecting them.
Ways to obtain light shards:
Once a month in sign-in bonus(1 for f2p, two for VIP users)
Once a week in Daily Quests
Monday VIP package
Other packages
There are more but these are the ones I remember. Collecting enough light shards to evolve can take months because you can get only a few shards a month.
So How Many Shards Do I Need?
1st Stage: 10
2nd Stage: 30
3rd Stage: 50
4th Stage: 70
5th Stage: 20 + Memory Gear(You can get Memory Gears from Elite ch19-21 stages when they are updated)
6th Stage: 25 + Memory Gear
7th Stage: 30 + Memory Gear
8th Stage: 40 + Memory Gear
9th Stage: 55 + Memory Gear
10th Stage: 70 + Memory Gear

but you need to evolve the karma to 4th stage to read all the dates.
SP dates have five parts. This is me not yet able to open the last part of Gavin SP date because I only have 3rd level Gavin SP.
SP dates are also longer. Normal dates are about twenty minutes and SP dates are about forty minutes. SP dates also include mini-games and special calls.
So, to read the dates, you need to collect 150 shards that’s equivalent of 2 duplicate SPs.
One duplicate SP is worth 80 shards.
TL:DR You need at least 3 same SPs(1 + 2 duplicates) to read the complete date. Evolving SPs are more expensive than evolving SSRs. This game is becoming more and more tough for f2p players.
Also, Victor/Gavin SP dates and Lucien Temptation SSR dates are all spoilers that happens after chapter 24. ESPECIALLY Lucien Temptation is the date that happens after Lucien Hiking Date(Lucien Floating Light karma).
