P.S. According to Putin's plan by day 1034 of Russian invasion into Ukraine on December 23, 2024, the Russian war criminals had lost 1256 multiple rocket launchers...Russian military trucks and weapons are cheap junk, but the amount of damage and the fact that the Russians were forced to spend money on their production and their crews in most cases did not survive the invasion of Ukraine...Putin's "plan" is costing the Kremlin much more than most of the idiots serving the Kremlin think ....
Feedback from Ukraine on HIMARS
Feedback from Ukraine suggests that the US HIMARS rocket system has contributed more to its defence than any other donated capability. Compact dimensions, mobility and ease of operation allow it to shoot and scoot, fully validating the concept of wheeled expeditionary artillery.
On Sunday Putin lobbed some missiles at Kyiv in response to reports that NATO will be giving Ukraine longer range missiles. In return, the UK Ministry of Defence announced via Twitter that it’s sending M270 multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) to Ukraine.
The M270 can strike targets 80 km/50 miles away. So while they can’t exactly hit the Putin Palace they are capable of hitting Russian invaders deep into Ukrainian territory currently controlled by the occupiers.
There have been rumors that Russia may attempt another offensive aimed at Kyiv. The M270 would make that rather difficult.
Ukraine’s existence depends on continuing support from friends. While Ukraine is defending democracy against totalitarianism, we need to keep defending Ukraine.
