Rain & Coffee

Happy Weekend!

Although I always have work over the weekend, it is very nice to dictate my own schedule than going to work, internship, or school. It was an extremely gloomy day in Long Beach apart from the little spots of sun that would leak through. 

I spent the majority of my afternoon and night in a coffee shop called Portfolio Coffeehouse on 4th and Cherry St.. I have to say, this place is a great experience on a Saturday. In between people-watching, listening to inspiring coffee shop playlist on iTunes, and cranking out homework, I got to enjoy my Saturday. I'll be sure to photograph the place next time I go. Perhaps I'll go tomorrow..we shall see. Their Mexican Mocha was tasty.

Hump Day

Woo I have survived hump day! Sickness and all, I had a great day today. I am loving my internship and the experience I'm gaining working with this population. I love life and my graduate program.

Wanting and needing something are two extremely different states humans go through. I hate it when the wanting tendencies win the need, I can't help the impulse to buy. I needed new furniture for my apartment!

Smiling because it's Friday! The weekend is here and I am ready to hit the town and feel great. 

Being back at home is very odd since I have been used to living on my own for such a long time. I went to the movies last night to see The Heat. That movies was pretty hilarious! I love the fact that the main characters in the plot are women.
