This fight SUCKS for MM Hunter, but I got it after a solid 20-30 pulls (I stopped counting cause it was stressing me out more).

If you're a Hunter and still going for this achievement, check out Mr. Eggplant on YouTube - he did it before the latest talent rework but if you know the class well, you should be able to build from there. Key things for me - use a Ferocity pet, but keep growl off cause he just deletes the pet. Posthaste from Disengage removes the spit debuff, so don't spend your interrupt on it. A focus macro for your interrupt can really help if he tries to heal while you're focused on the egg - but be sure to *actually* set him as your focus before you pull!

My Marksman Hunter~

I am still so salty that they are taking away pets from MM hunters. They gave people that didn’t want pets the option of Lone Wolf, but they’re not giving people that like pets the option to keep them? What the hell? And like, Destruction and Affliction Warlocks get to keep their pets even though Demonology is the only one that focuses on them. Why not take away pets from them too? It’s the same thing. I worked hard to find and tame some of my pets and I don’t want to have to switch to a spec I don’t enjoy just to be able to use them. I have never complained about anything they have ever done to any class, but this is just the worst thing. It might seem minor, but I’ve been maining a Marksman Hunter for ten and a half years. I’ve tried BM several times and just don’t like it as much. But, in those ten years, one of my favorite parts of being a hunter was looking for new or rare pets to tame. To me, they are a pet class and there is enough of a difference between the specs now that taking away a pet, claiming it’s to differentiate the spec, is ridiculous. 

They better give us the option to have pets or I’m going to be complaining non-stop until they do. Of course, Warriors complained about things in WoD since Alpha and nothing got done about it, so that’s very discouraging. But I will fight for my pets, so help me. To log into a game I love only to not be able to play the class/spec I enjoy is a game killer for me, honestly. No matter how awesome the rest of the game is, I will go back to my main and be disappointed and sad every time. =/

Oh, and hunters just seem to be getting the shaft this expansion. Their class hall is...okay I guess. I was hoping for a bigger lodge and something more...lodgey than what we got. I appreciate it being outdoorsy, but I was hoping for a large lodge on top of that. Instead we got a pretty small lodge-like building with a bunch of tents around... /sigh

MM Hunters

I'm still pretty disappointed that MM is losing pets. Please Blizz, at the very least, give us a glyph to have the option to let a pet run around with us. I worked hard to tame a lot of different rare pets and I don't like BM enough to switch just to have a pet. I'm excited to try out Survival though, but MM will always be my most loved spec and it just wouldn't be the same without my pets. Other than that, the changes sound interesting and I'm looking forward to trying things out.
