“But I did ask.” Adam’s fingers flexed against Faradae’s skin. “It’s hard for me, but for you, Faradae, I always try.” ”Are you saying you want to have that conversation right now?” “I’m saying that I want you to push. I don’t want you to hold back with me. And I want…I want everyone to know that you’re mine.” Faradae’s fingers twisted in Adam’s shirt. “Do you know how fucking old it makes me feel to ask that damn question?” Adam smirked, tugging him closer. “Ask it anyway.” “Only for you will I bend,” Faradae muttered. Then he slid his arms around Adam’s neck, pulling him in until their noses brushed. “Adam, can I call you my boyfriend?” He fought to keep his expression neutral. “Can I think about it?” Faradae smacked his chest. “You ass.” Adam caught his hand, holding it over his heart. “You can call me whatever you want as long as it makes me yours.” “I think I’ll stick with ass.” “I know I have a great one, but you don’t have to keep bringing it up.” Adam winked. Faradae’s eyes narrowed. “You are such a pain.” “Then find some pain reliever because you are stuck with me.” Adam leaned in closer just as a car pulled into the lot. “Though I think I know a thing or two about giving you a little relief.” Faradae rolled his eyes, but Adam caught the smile tugging at his mouth. He loved Adam’s teasing, and Adam loved him.
