So, I wrote something kind of dirty (M by ao3 standards). I wanted to share it as is, but it's too rough for ao3, so I figured I would throw it out into the tumblr ether. Nothing like coming back to tumblr by posting almost-smut, right?

Warning for physical violence and some breath play below the cut.

They've been circling each other for a while, each has gotten a few hits in. They've agreed to fight dirty, both angry about something else and needing to work it out in the ring.

These two understand each other in a way no one else does. Tommy got a good hit on him and now Eddie's bleeding from his nose, but Eddie got a good kick in that has Tommy's whole body sagging to one side as his hip aches trying to stay upright. They're circling, blood singing, and a calm focus settles over them.

They are two bodies, two sacks of flesh, compliments for one another to use as needed to get out all the hurt, the pain, the trauma. Therapy can only do so much. In this moment, on this mat, wearing only shorts and some fingerless gloves to try to lessen hand sweat, nothing else matters.

Eddie moves fast, but Tommy moves faster. Tommy tackles Eddie, using his increased weight to his advantage. But Eddie doesn't accept his fate. He's sweaty, and writhes around beneath Tommy, making it hard to the taller man to get a real grip on him. When he can get a hit, a kick, anything in, he does.

Tommy ducks his head to move out of the way of Eddie's fist. Eddie grins as Tommy's face nears his own, and moves ever so slightly, biting Tommy's ear lobe hard enough to draw blood.

Tommy doesn't tap out though. It hurts like a bitch, but everything does, and he can feel his blood moving to his extremities (all of his extremities). And Eddie, well, he's always needed to be forced into giving up. Forced into submission.

Tommy manages to get a hand around Eddie's throat, and starts to squeeze the sides of his next. Cut off blood flow, cut off oxygen to the brain, but not the lungs. Make Eddie's insides burn as he tries to breathe.

Tommy watches Eddie's eyes go glassy, watches his hand slap the mat. He lets up just enough to let Eddie's eyes clear.

And then it's teeth clashing, hips thrusting, a race to climax first. Eddie gets a hand in Tommy's hair and yanks, and he's done.

When MMA fighters embrace one another and start hugging during a match it's to give mid-care so they let one another know it's all love although they are beating each other up.

May I please request headcanons for Kageyama, Hinata, Tanaka, and Asahi finding out about their female S/O being an MMA fighter who dreams of going pro?

He has to ask what an MMA fighter is the first time you mentioned it

He's very supportive as an athlete himself

Asks how your matches work and if he can watch one

You often spend afternoons sharing details about your respective sports so you both understand more

Loves the idea of you going pro since he did too

Probably has challenged you to arm wrestles (he loses and you never forget)

Does his best to guide you on going pro "Tobio, I think that only applies to volleyball, not mixed martial arts..." "Oh. Have a kiss instead then."

Hinata

Is super excited to hear you want to go pro

There is a good chance he is more pumped than you are

He asks you to show him some of your best moves because he's curious to learn

Watches all your matches in his free time

Like Kageyama, he'd also try to see/learn more things about mixed martial arts because he knows it means a lot to you

"I think I want to go pro," "Really? Really!?" "Yup, it's something I really want to do, Shoy-" "I'M SO EXCITED-" "Are you really?" "YES!"

If he has time to watch you at a match, he yells the loudest in the crowd

Tanaka

He's probably the one out of the four who actively watches MMA fights

100% is super proud of you and likes to tell people that you're going pro and to look out for you on TV

"THAT'S MY Y/N, THE MMA PRO!"

Since he's a personal trainer, you go to the gym a lot with him and he helps you train when you're not with your coach

Would tell all of his friends (especially the Karasuno team) to watch your games to support you (Noya is a big fan for sure)

He sets up mini celebrations in the lead-up to your debut of being a pro

Researches tips for you so you can try them together while you're training

Asahi

He doesn't really watch MMA matches until he meets you

It goes against his gentle personality, but he enjoys watching them anyway, especially your victories

Since he's not as included in the sports world as much as he once was, he loves listening to you explain how MMA fights work

"Am I allowed to design your fighting shorts?" "If you can get it past the Unified Rules," "I'll do my best!"

He gets a little worried when he watches you fight, mainly for your safety, but he knows it makes you happy so that keeps his fears at bay

He makes little garments/accessories for casual wear when you're training

Has heaps of saved videos from all your amateur fights
