step into christmas → seb & mary
The spiced cookies were warmed through and placed onto a plate on the table ready. The boxes of christmas decorations were finally brought out of storage for another year, the christmas music was playing and the mistletoe was waiting on the side for Seb to trick Mary with when he answered the door to her shortly.
Christmas had always been Seb’s favourite time of year, for as long as he could remember. He adored the smell of the rich food, the drinks - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic - the cold weather and the fact that you could eat your body weight in chocolate in a day and no one would bat an eyelid. Seb was thrilled that this year, he got to spend the run up to christmas with Mary.
His thoughts were disrupted by the buzzer ringing in his flat, and he jogged over towards it, unhooked the phone and answered.
“Hey, yeah, come on up.”
Upon putting the phone down, he ran into the kitchen, swiped the mistletoe from up off the table and walked towards his front door, eagerly waiting behind it while holding the mistletoe behind his back.
