detention.

starter for @mmaksel !

now, usually detention isn’t something that bothers pip all that much; he’s used to it by now. usually, he simply sits and write lines, or polishes trophies or something for a couple hours. this time he’s supposing it’ll be lines, since he was sent to a classroom, rather than the trophy hall. but, he soon realises that today’s detention will be a lot more unpleasant than previous ones.

the room looks empty upon first glance when pip enters, but then, as he’s about to rejoice over having detention alone without some other annoying kid to bother him, he notices a familiar figure sat across the room, and instantly internally groans. aksel. the last person he wanted to see right now. 

with a sigh, pip makes his way to a seat as far away from aksel as he can get. had it been any other time, pip might have been pleased to end up alone with aksel for a couple hours, but currently he was avoiding him, as was usual every few weeks. sure, pip was certain every time he decided to distance himself from aksel that it would be the final time, but every single time he eventually caved, and went right back to him.

there’s something about aksel that makes pip keep coming back, and he hates it, because it’s normally so easy to just end things with guys he messes around with. he’s always able to simply decide he’s done with them and move on. aksel, though, somehow keeps pip interested, keeps him wanting more, keeps him from being able to let go entirely. if only aksel wasn’t a complete dick, maybe pip would mind less. 

so, he resides himself to simply ignoring aksel, hoping he can get through his few hours of detention undisturbed. 

though he knows his chances are slim.
