I finished all 6 pages of my comic much earlier than I anticipated. So I’m sharing it now!!

The words in this comic are the lyrics to the song “Amor Completo” by Mon Laferte. I was listening to this song on repeat while coming up all the panels.

This comic is my attempt to sort of encapsulate Hector and Desmond’s relationship from when Hector was an HVAC to when he becomes human. They love and care for each other very much and I tried my best to make sure that I could really capture their tenderness towards each other. I hope that I did a good job of showing that.

I made a comic of Desmond coming back home to Hector after work!!

I used the words from the “I miss my wife, Tails” audio as the words for this comic.

Although Desmond loves working at the museum, they do miss Hector throughout their day. I imagine that Hector also misses Desmond as he’s working on his masks and other art projects through his day.

When Desmond gets back home, I imagine that Hector greets them at the door as they enter. Even after they walk through the front door, they truly arrive home once they’re in Hector’s loving embrace. Whether Hector is working from home or in a studio, he’s truly home once he’s in Desmond’s sweet arms.

Desmond’s phone wallpaper in the 3rd panel is a photo they took Hector holding all 4 of their rats. I image that Hector and Desmond have a mischief of rats. I’ll draw them in better detail when I am able to.

I drew a portrait of Hector and Desmond being sweet together. This took me 6 hours to complete but it was worth it, in my opinion.

I gave Hector a monarch butterfly wing and I gave Desmond a green cicada wing.

I put a picture frame behind them with a two hearts pinned together on a torn out piece of paper. I imagine that the paper is a love poem that Hector wrote for Desmond.

I drew Hector and Desmond being sweet together in the park. I also drew some little beetle guys over their heads. The one over Hector is a Hercules beetle and the over Desmond’s head is a Rhinoceros beetle.

I wanted to draw Demond sweetly picking Hector up in their embrace. I think Hector loves the feeling of being in Desmond’s strong and sweet arms. Desmond loves the feeling of holding Hector. I’ve been writing a some short stories and head canons on Hector and Desmond being boyfriends.

Also, I have two versions of Desmond Crisp. One is to ship with Jerry and the other is to ship with Hector. They are both the same Desmond just with either Jerry/Hector. I think of it as two alternate realities, if that makes sense.

I drew a comic of Hector and Desmond being sweet with each other!!

I imagine that Hector and Desmond were getting their photos taken at Photo Booth and they couldn’t help but give each other kisses.

I haven’t made a comic in a while so I thought It would be nice to try and to make one of Hector and Desmond being sweet and loving each other.

I drew some doodles of octopus!Hector and Desmond being sweet.

Desmond thinks that Hector is beautiful in any form. Desmond would kiss his tentacles through the grates and tell him how wonderful he is and how much they love him.

Also, Desmond is standing on a step ladder so that they can reach Hector. Hector’s other tentacles are blocking his face within the grate, but Desmond still knows that he’s beautiful.

I imagine that octopus!Hector prefers fish and seafood. So Desmond made empanadas with tuna filling for him. They’re giving him one to try. I think Hector liked the taste and was very touched by Desmond’s sweet gesture.

Desmond also made matching bracelets for Hector and themself. Hector treasures his and makes sure to hold on to it with a few of his suckers so that he doesn’t lose it. On the rare occasion that it does slip off by accident, Desmond happily puts it back on and gives Hector a little kiss on his tentacle.

These were very fun and self indulgent to draw!

I drew Hector and Desmond sleeping and being cozy together. Also, I wanted to try and add some light and darkness to this drawing. It was very fun to try and I hope it turned out okay.

Some context for this drawing: I imagine that Hector and Desmond were both lying in bed reading their respective books together when Desmond got sleepy and stopped reading for the night. Hector and Desmond gave each other goodnight kisses, and Hector decided to stay up a little longer to continue reading his book. Desmond rolled over to hold Hector as he kept reading and by the time Hector got to the next chapter of his book, he got cozy in Demonds embrace and felt sleepy as well. Hector ended up falling asleep before he could turn off his little book lamp and put both his and Desmond’s books away. They slept in each other’s arms peacefully for the rest of the night.

Also, the book next to Desmond’s head is about fossils. This is based on the fact that irl, I’m reading “Dinopedia” by Darren Naish. I’m really enjoying it so far. I’d recommend it if you’d like a fun and short guide to dinosaurs and their interesting lore.

I drew Jerry and Desmond being sweet together in Jerry’s Junk Drawer. This time Desmond is in drag (I’m still trying to come up with their drag name).

I’m not sure if this really counts as being suggestive but I’ll tag it as such just in case.

This is drawing is meant to be the aftermath of when Jerry watched Desmond play trumpet and sing on stage at The Breaker Box for the first time.

I imagine that Desmond only enjoys performing on stage when they’re in drag. Being in makeup and wearing snazzy outfits makes them feel pretty as well as confident enough to perform without panicking too much.
