I've never seen 'real' fire whisky before! What brand was it? or did you make it yourself? I'm a butterbeer person myself (have an excellent recipe I make for our winter movie marathon)

OOO recipe!  Do you share?? 

I tried firewhisky at the HP theme park in universal but it’s kinda similar to fireball cinnamon whiskey I think (i’ve been told).  It’s really yummy mixed with stuff too (they have a few choices for how to have it in the park).  It’s alcoholic though, so there’s that to keep in mind.

I worry often how my reviews will be taken by the author. I feel so lucky to read the stories that you choose to share with all of us. And want to help you see things with new/fresh eyes, (by way of review) how your story is understood. (If that's something the author has said they want).

The reviewer I was talking about really was lovely, like really great, so I’m not upset about it. (The obnoxious one was something else altogether.) And I think you raise good points. You’re right that I’d want to know if I have a continuity error or if something was confusing. Thinking about the chapter I just posted, I had several people ask about the cuckoo clock and put forth their theories, and in doing so, I realized that I wrote it in a way that was majorly confusing because no one was taking what I wanted out of it. So that wasn’t crit exactly, but it informed me for the future. You’re right that I want the audience to understand the story. And I’ve had times a beta has told me they don’t have a clue what I’m driving at & had to rewrite, which was majorly helpful as well.

You and others are convincing me that crit has its place haha.

I think I was just thrown because it was so nice but not helpful all the same, if that makes sense? But that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have left the review, I suppose. Because another author might have really appreciated & grown from it.

This is all just interesting to think about.

(And you’ve never left a bothersome review as far as I’ve seen!)

I did read it, and I support all of your answers. Hinny was lovely, the plot not so much. Doesn't mean I wouldn't see it if I came to my city (which it won't) just for the fan factor.

Oh thank you hahaha.  I’m glad my understanding of things made sense.  I feel the same way, like if someone handed me tickets and was like “hey you want to go?” I would be like sure!  It sounds like the actual performances were pretty cool to watch.

(also when do I NOT look for an excuse to wear my wizard robes)
