Mao mao had long since given up on the whole idea that he could be a legendary hero like how every mao in the family was but he could be the average adventurer just like everyone else.

The reason why was simple. He wasn't good enough despite his amazing skills and legendary sword but he couldn't handle the A rank monsters flawlessly like his father or sisters who could do it in a hour depending on the situation but to mao mao took hours or a entire day leaving him ussually very Injured.
