SINGER-SONGWRITER SHAWN MENDES SET TO PERFORM IN MANILA ON MARCH 18

Canadian pop singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes will finally hit Manila! As part of Mendes’ 2017 Illuminate Tour, he will be performing on a rescheduled date March 18 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Mendes, now 18 years old, released his second studio album Illuminate in 2016, with the chart topping hit “Treat You Better”. The single reached the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 charts and the album debuted number 1 in the US Billboard 200.  Other certified platinum singles from Mendes include “Life of the Party,” “Something Big”, “I Know What You Did Last Summer” (duet with Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello) and “Mercy.”

The Toronto-born crooner was also named as one of TIME Magazine’s Most Influential Teens of 2014 & 2015, as well as one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in 2016, and won “Favorite New Artist” at the 2016 People’s Choice Awards.

Mendes, who cited Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, John Meyer and Ed Sheeran as his musical influences, also joined Austin Mahone and Taylor Swift on her “1989 World Tour”, as well as on his own headlining World Tour—all of which sold out in just minutes.

Looking back in 2014, Andrew Gertler discovered & introduced Mendes to Island Records, Shawn’s debut single “Life Of The Party” broke records, topping the iTunes Charts and selling over 150,000 copies in its first week due to his legions of fans. The success of the song made Shawn the youngest ever artist to break into the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 25 with a debut single.

COLDPLAY ANNOUNCE ASIAN TOUR FOR APRIL 2017 BAND TO PLAY STADIUM SHOWS IN FIVE COUNTRIES

Coldplay have today announced a run of Asian stadium shows for the acclaimed A Head Full Of Dreams Tour, including the band’s first ever concerts in Taiwan, the Philippines and South Korea (they last played Japan in 2014 and Singapore in 2009).

Since March of this year, the A Head Full Of Dreams Tour has played to 2.5 million people across Latin America, the US and Europe. The show was created by the band alongside celebrated production designers Misty Buckley and Paul Normandale. The tour reaches Australia and New Zealand in December.

A Head Full Of Dreams has sold more than 5 million copies since its December 2015 release, spawning the hit singles Adventure Of A Lifetime, Hymn For The Weekend and Up&Up, with more than a billion YouTube video views between them.

SEEING THE 1975 THIS AUGUST 2016 One of my readers shared a somewhat exciting news to me this morning that got me all 🔝 up. The 1975 together with Artists like James Bay, Panic at the disco, third eye blind, Elle king will be having a concert here in my lil country come August 2016 Yassssss!!! 😊 People have no idea how utterly stressed my Thursday was from the morning till midnight and this is just lit! 💥 There I was driving an hours worth of trip on my way to work in a clear glass car wearing a big smile on my face and a scream from time to time. You can't hide the excitement from my face. Imagine how yesterday I was just on the verge of crying and exerting countless of curse words to my stress until midnight, how amazing it is that I just sleep and wake up to a better mood.
