The Escape a Concert Provides

As teenagers, we all have a long list of things to worry about. They can be about your family, studies, peers and even your existent (or non-existent) love life. On a more serious note, we all are looking for an escape. A time for our own soul and a place we can call a save haven. A place where we can escape our miseries. These are just some of the things a concert can provide our longing souls.

One thing that has always bothered me with people is that they judge concert junkies. Just because someone attends most concerts it doesn't mean the person's already a fan of the act — he/she is probably just looking for a great time with the help of music. There shouldn't be a problem if you're not a fan of someone you're about to catch live and it should be acceptable one becomes a fan after the performance, that's what a concert tour is for right? A concert junkie should not mind these things as long as he/she scores a ticket with all efforts given, he/she deserves to see a show live. One is not entitled to say someone deserves something or not. Whether you pay for your tickets or win them, no one should feel superior over the other. Music and concerts are for everybody.

A concert is probably the happiest place a music enthusiast can be at. Not only do you get to see a musician perform their songs but you also get to meet a lot of people. From the line before getting inside the venue to seeing your seat mates, it won't hurt to be friendly! Concert buddies can make a concert experience a whole lot better, it's comforting to freak out over an artist or a band together with your friends who share the same love for music. It is okay to sing your heart out, it's okay to scream and let all of your feelings out, it's okay to dance as wild as you can — a concert can make you feel free. Most people do not know what they're missing when they say "I won't spend cash for a two-hour concert!" because those hours will be remembered for years. Those hours of waiting in line, getting inside the arena and seeing the stage for the first time, drinking water because you've screamed so much, saying "oh my god" for two hours straight — they will all be remembered. Do not spend too much on material things, go out and experience a concert. A concert can provide the escape from reality you are looking for, good luck escaping post concert depression though. ;)
