"Ugh. Yes, Billy?" Tatum questioned, squinting her eyes through her sunglasses. "You're blocking my sun. If you need something, take two steps to the left please."

“Why am I doing what, Billy?” Paulette stopped what she was doing to look at him. “Why am I helping you? You’re the one who showed up at my doorstep looking freaked out and asking for help -- whether you want to believe someone cares about you or not, I do, so that’s why I’m helping you...”

“Surprise, Billy.” The voice they both knew so well, now slightly distorted over time and probably low batteries as he held the voice changer to his mouth and turned on the bar stool to face his former friend. “Can you believe they let me have this back?” Stu chuckled. “You look like you’ve seen a ghost.” His eyes widened sarcastically for effect.
"Where the hell have you been?"

@mmm-corn-syrup asked: “ i’m not good at caring about people’s shit on purpose. ” - Jill for Tara ( I’m so sorry for her lol )
Tara stares at her for a while just trying to process that sentence. She had heard all of those words before of course but put together like that? Yeah that was something she hadn’t heard before and she hoped she never would again. She stares at her for a long while just unsure of what to say or really do. After the silence has hung in the air for long enough she just nods. “Yeah… yeah you are exactly how Kirby said you would be.” She tells her wanting her to take that however she wanted to.
Kirby had never actually said anything to Tara about Jill; mostly she talked about Charlie. Still she thinks that will get under Jill’s skin a bit, maybe piss her off. Two could play at whatever game it was that Jill was trying to play with her.

she feels the rough pads of billy's thumb against her cheeks and she hates crying. whenever she cries she is just filled with rage and then exhaustion. her green eyes looking up at the male trying to gauge his reaction but at the same time she did not need his pity.
" i don't wanna talk about it so don't ask.. "

Her arms slung around his shoulders and she leaned into the gentle affection. She liked where they were at. Things were calming down again, she hoped it stuck. With Roman being the push of the dominos and now being dead maybe it would all be over for real this time. She hated what it did to Billy.
She watched him process it carefully. It was big news and she was nervous. She really wanted him to be okay with it. He was a good Dad to Gen already. But worse comes to worse that she didn't think would happen, she'd done it on her own before she could do it again. "Pregnant, Woody." She repeated. "Yes, the bar top." She halfheartedly laughed. "What do you hink about it?" She bit her lip.

"Dad?" Marcel looked at him hesitantly. "Look, I know what you're gonna say. That I shouldn't have done it, you never wanted that for us but I had to! He was going to kill them, they don't deserve that shit!" Despite the rise in his tone, as he went on more tears formed in his eyes. First thing his parents saw when he returned home was dropping his dad's mask and knife on the table, covered in fresh blood. The last thing either of them wanted for their kids. "I didn't want him to win so I- I'm sorry dad, I'm really sorry."
