Corrosive Nagaxid Just like the other strongest Mavericks of Mega Man X: Unit 49, she is based on a mythological creature instead of a real species. She belongs to a series of Reploids created with a technology used by Toxic Seahorse in the past, but with several new features such as being able to shape their bodies like the New Generation Reploids, with different limitations for each one of them. 

As the most advanced of all, Corrosive Nagaxid can shape her body to have a human-ish semblance or expand and become a monster to shallow enemies. The material she is made of can quickly change between a stable solid state and a harmful gooey state that can corrode and melt anything in contact. She uses that property to create weapons from raw liquid metal and also to spill a petrifying torrent. Nagaxid can regenerate as long as there is enough supply for her to consume, just as her brothers Nitrous Marcidus and Cyrenox. However, she has their weaknesses too: Ice-element attacks can drop her temperature below a value she can control, thus ceasing her regeneration and shape-shifting abilities. Her weak point is the head, since it is the core that must be kept functioning or else she dismantles into a pile of goo. The battle against her will be the last of the current stream of boss fights preceding Season 2's climax and should be published around the end of July. First, we'll have to deal with another freak.
