this man has spent a season on his own finding himself and never did he once indicate missing his job (as opposed to how murdoch was shown to miss it throughout the ep!!!)

he quit because of the direct opposition to his morals and ideals and very existence that the constabulary has and if anything the events of the finale should have led to a stronger resentment, right? he said it himself. by association george is apart of it and now so is he--

even without the stark contradiction there still was no indicated shift that led him to come back. george and violet convincing him to stay alive to make a difference was the takeaway for him here, what does that have to do with rejoining the constabulary?
