I mean if you’re gay and traumatized enough I guess paying a few hundred gold to have someone beat you into unconsciousness isn’t the weirdest coping mechanism
WELCOME TO EISELCROSS!
Snowcone?
[Jester voice] The paladins are fightinggggggg
Oh my god the emotional whiplash of the Destiel confession to the beauyasha happening in this Chili’s tonight
How fucked up would it be if the monster was truly just a huge baby
What amazed me the most was that, in the moments where Fjord faltered in the aftermath, every single member of the group was not only “there for him,” but was a solid presence for him to rest a moment against. No one is “only useful” to the group for the physical damage or arcane prowess they bring to the table any longer. Fjord is helpless and beginning to fight an entity none of them can conceive, and the whole group scrambled to protect him as best they could. The glove, the whip, the shield, the axe... they’re a family in this moment, not a party. It never crosses anyone’s mind that Fjord should stay behind, or that he should try to “make things right” and regain his powers. It’s instantaneous acceptance and a call to action. “We have your back,” they prove to each other, “and no one is getting left behind.”
Some people??? Get into fist fights in illegal pits??? To cope???
