you didn’t see anything ;
she was in the deeper parts of the park, where the woods get a little more dense. it’s off the trail so no one should be out here: especially not in the middle of winter. although it hasn’t snowed recently, it was still in the low ( a straight 0 celsius and usually lower). sunmi was thankful for the nippy weather, mostly because it eased her to know that no one would catch her mid-transformation (or while she was naked).
she huffs, her breath rising in a puffy mist. she scans the area. her sense tell her that no one is near enough to worry her. it feels safe enough so she transforms back to her human form. despite being raised by humans and thus living most of her life in her human form, it felt weird to not be in her wolf form even for a little bit. so she made this a habit. at least once a weekend if she could manage. it felt freeing.
sunmi shivered a bit, reaching for the hidden plastic bag of clothes had stowed away. she was thankful for the extra warmth she just naturally radiated or else she’s sure she would have froze the minute she switched back. she hurriedly puts on her underwear, feeling the cold slowly ebb away at her natural warmth.
then she notices it. someone was close. she hadn’t been paying attention but she could hear their footsteps and smell them. she freezes momentarily, trying to gauge how close they were. she fumbles to put the rest of her clothes on in panic, knowing for sure that she wouldn’t have any decent explanation for this.
