"... a serene retail space conceived for a brand of handcrafted shoes. The main idea behind the project was to create a seamless transition between spaces – the exterior and the interior – which was achieved with oval, rounded shapes and open walk-throughs. With concrete slates and glass, there is a clean and minimal, almost austere air about the space with even the original cracks in the floor being kept as part of the decor. Moderate furnishings take visitors back to the 1950s offering a retro touch to a very modern space. The atrium offers a view of the sky and connects the store with nature in the most organic possible way..."
