While watching Love Senior Special, the sequel to the drama Love Senior, I realized that the relationships between the characters in this series were completely chaotic.
The series mainly follows the pairing of Manaow (Anda Anunta) and Gyoza (Lookkaew Kamollak), but also the secondary pairing of Warang (Noon Thunyaphat) and Prang (Praewa Putticha). Apart from Lada, played by Jenny Pataravadee, also a member of the girl band Cosmos, all the other characters are linked to each other like in a spider's web.
Warning, spoilers ahead.
Before meeting Manaow, Gyoza shared her feelings with Poy (Devi Deviyabha), but they did not become an official couple. Poy has an older brother, Pure (Bonus Tanadech), who also has feelings for Gyoza. After her accident and amnesia, he will play the role of her fake boyfriend.
Before getting together with Gyoza, Manaow has a one-night stand with Luktan (Atom Aphichaya), who is madly in love with her, and the word “madly” is not chosen easily. Indeed, realizing that Manaow is in love with Gyoza and therefore has no chance of winning her heart, she will take revenge by using Belle (Mersedes Siripath). We will come back to this in a few lines.
When Manaow and Gyoza finally get together, Warang is angry. Indeed, this friend of Gyoza's would like to be more than just a friend and finds it difficult to support her choice to be with Manaow.
Prang, the younger sister of Thida (Pam Parima), Warang's best friend, is sad to see Warang so affected by the relationship between Gyoza and Manaow. She would like Warang to notice her, because she had a crush on her for a long time. Warang will eventually realize that she shares Prang's feelings, and they will start dating.
Prang's best friend, Belle, has feelings for Manaow. Luktan takes advantage of this situation to get her revenge. She drugs Belle and Manaow and sets them up to make them think they slept together. Gyoza then thinks that Manaow has cheated on her.
In season 2, we discover at the same time as Prang that her sister, Thida, is in love or was in love with Warang, who is her own girlfriend.
The plot of this second season revolves around misunderstandings in the relationship between Manaow and Gyoza. Manaow is close to her boss, Warit (Mo Amena), who is none other than Warang's older sister, which makes Gyoza a little jealous.
Kirin (Newton Waiyakorn) is a client of the company where Manaow and Gyoza work, but also Gyoza's childhood friend. Their close relationship will bring out Manaow's possessive nature.
Alongside this mess of relationships, we have Lada and Alee (Jame Kasama), who have been together since college.
But it's not over . . .
During this second season, the outlines of new relationships are emerging without being confirmed.
Throughout the season, Belle and Luktan seem to be growing closer. This comes as no surprise, given that the two actors, Mersedes Siripath and Atom Aphichaya, form Star Hunter Entertainment's new GL pairing and will star in the series My Only Sunshine.
Kerin and Warit also seem to be flirting in the latest episode, and Poy makes barely concealed advances towards Thida.
I hope you understand everything. In short, the world of Love Senior is really very small.
