Marty Oppenheimer AU thing:

This is an alternate universe where the only difference is that Cliff Gordon keeps Jay. Jay grew up in an upperclass household with a very different parenting style and basically a very different childhood. Since he’s the son of a movie star, he also have grew up going to red carpet events and hosting his father’s extravagant parties at their mansion. In this AU Cliff loves his son (I’m basing this on the fact that he had Jay merch in the show) and he knows Jay will probably have powers just like his mother, but he thinks that they will be a great way for his son to become famous. He doesn’t think that he belongs risking his life and using his powers to protect other people, and he raises Jay telling him how he has to keep the Gordon legacy going. He tells Jay that it would be a waste to use his powers, if he ever gets any, for anything but what he was born to be: a celebrity.

We all know that Jay doesn’t do well boxed in or being told what to do, but his whole life he complies. His father, and his nannies and servants, and his famous friends are all telling him what he is supposed to be and do, and he never gets the option to even think about being anything else. He thinks he might be crazy that he feels like he’s meant for more.

(I meantioned him having nannies and yeah Cliff is always busy so Jay was raised mostly in part by the staff at his house.)

Cliff and Jay both think that Marty Oppenheimer would be a great place for Jay to go. Jay secretly thinks that such a prestigious school is sure to knock his head on straight. He thinks going here is going to “fix him” and his stupid longings to be anything but a famous actor will go away.

Jay is already a good actor, he thinks. He puts on a confident and jokey mask and boasts to people who he is. He hides himself so that people will never suspect how wrong he feels deep down.

Cole is just like the show.

His father wants him to be a singer so he brings him to where he graduated from, and Cole immediately wants out. He doesn’t want to be there and he finds all the preppy kids annoying. His roommate talks too much. He thinks he’s annoying for always talking about his dad and how successful he is. They do not get along. Especially when the motor-mouth goes off on a rant about how awesome the school is and how lucky they all were to be there.

Hope you like it! There is so much more that I have, and maybe I’ll actually write this as a story someday. I feel like I was super repetitive as I was writing it and I can promise you that there are so many other errors in it that I’m too lazy to edit out. Thank you for listening!

Inspired by a few of the poly posts of @vivilakitty hope you don’t mind!

Sabine and Tom are poly. Nadja is their on again/off again girlfriend. Manon may or may not be Tom’s kid. No one is sure. No one really care either.

They also had a thing with Gabriel and Emilie but they don’t tell Marinette cause it ended when Gabriel and Emilie got married and decided to be monogamous. They also have a boyfriend and a few causal date friends.

Due to this Marinette has done a lot of soul searching and thinks she would like a poly relationship. She doesn’t talk about it though as one time she did as a kid and she got ridiculed pretty bad.

As Ladybug she is fully out about being poly which does get her some backlash but she doesn’t care what people think then. She’s saving Paris thanks.

Chat is confused about the poly thing so she tries to explain but she kinda messes up a bit and he thinks it’s like dating multiple people but choosing one person in the end for a while and he says he’s okay with poly.

No one is aware he isn’t. Not until he mentions it to his dad about poly as Adrien and Gabriel kinda stops and then does a good explanation.

“I used to date your mother and a couple at the same time. We ended it when your mother and I got married- though we did later become poly again. Just we never hooked back up with them. I think they have a daughter now...”

They did go back to poly cause they found monogamy sucked for them as he was so busy and she had different tastes and they both liked romancing different. Nathalie is actually their girlfriend they hired on after she was fired from her job after it was discovered she was poly. Adrien never knew because they weren’t ashamed but they considered their romantic lives private and didn’t want him to blab as a child.

So Adrien does soul searching and realizes he’s not sure about being poly. So he tells Ladybug who is embarsssed she’d messed up her explanation but says they should break up then because while she understands he’s not certain she is sure she would prefer a poly lifestyle.

Chat might be a little upset but he cools down.

Marientte comes out as poly to Alya once she’s sure she’s okay with it and explains her parents are poly and such. The two probe Adrien but he tells them he’s not sure if he should because image. Which sucks but...

Also Gabriel reaches out to reconnect with the Dupain-Cheng family and Marinette is like: wait when... when did you guys... break up?

(No they’re not related.)

Still awkward!!! So like that kills that. And Alya is like; oh shit we almost hooked you up with your maybe brother.

Marinette is not amused.

But anyway so Paris becomes pretty chill with poly relationships and stuff. Marinette is fully out and her parents come out to and they’re all happy. Nadja happily gets back together with them... again. Their boyfriend who... you know I kinda want him to be the Gorilla and have Marinette call him his legal name and Adrien be awkward and she hoes: wait... you don’t know his actual name?!?

Or like the pigeon dude for the sheer hilarity of it. “Our boyfriend got akumatized again.” “Ugh.”

Anyway so this happens and like Mari eye kinda dates Nino and Alya but they decide they’re not poly.

She does date Nathanaël who dates Marc though. They’re pretty good together there.

It’s all happy and cheerful but then Lila comes and she starts lying her ass off... until she makes a comment about poly couples and people realize she has to be lying. Ladybug is openly poly!!!

Marinette ends up dating Luka to who... isn’t sure about being poly himself but is okay with her being poly which causes some issue with her parents cause they had nasty relationships that started with that. But legit he’s cool with it.

Maybe Felix and Kagami to but also like I dunno. Who knows?
