One thing I love about Cole is how he has strong relationships with *all* of the ninja

I know some pairings in the ninja get a lot more focus and attention than others (*cough*RBG sibs*cough*) but I feel like Cole's relationships with each of his teammates has gotten significant attention over the years, and it's so cute. Like he's just friends with everybody.

Obviously he's good friends with Jay, but he's super close to Nya too (and I will die on the hill that Cole and Nya as a duo is GOATED) and has a lot of interactions with Kai as well. There's a reason Bruise and Lava are big Cole ships lmao. And it makes sense because he's quite close to both ninja.

Lloyd and Zane, maybe not as much, but it's still there. It's a little more background (Cole and Zane hugging each other at the end of big battles, Cole picking up Zane's discarded face after his sacrifice), but there's still elements of Cole being close to Lloyd and Zane if you know where to look. I'd say the only member of the team he doesn't get a ton of interaction with is Pixal, but he was one of two ninja who stayed after Nya's sacrifice and was working with her, so there is merit to them being friends too.

Not to imply that the other ninja aren't friends, but there's something cozy and special about Cole having close bonds to all of them. While his friendship with Jay gets the most focus, it doesn't completely overshadow his other friendships. And it kinda gives the impression Cole is the heart of the team. Where Lloyd is the leader and Zane and Nya are the glue, Cole provides a sense of warmth and stability. I think that helps to make his absence and sidelining in DR so noticeable, because Cole is just so close with everyone it feels like there's something missing when he's gone.
